Its hard to believe there are so many Youtube videos about penis pumping I can’t even find it again.
Thanks guys. Yeah I’m glad I didn’t go in. I’ve just never seen it stay for so long. Must’ve been way overboard on pressure and not knowing it. If I do this again, I’m going to get a gauge for sure.
I can just see going to the receptionist at the clinic and explaining where the swelling is.
How did this happen? Says the doctor and nurse and trainee. EHhhh. Yeah. Go home and you’ll be fine in a week. We’ll all be talking about this at lunch. That’ll be $123456.99.
Hi jlelend,
Glad to hear it was going down for you. I realize it has been a while since this happened and you are probably fully recovered, but for what its worth, I thought I’d share my experience also. I had a similar situation as yours but mine was due to over-pumping. I wanted to hold back the edema from doing long sessions (30-40 mins at 5-7inHg) with my air pump. I used to use a silicone sleeve to keep it at bay during pumping, but they started warping over time and I thought it was not going to be practical so I invested in a metal glans ring, then two and three, lol hoping that it would help increase the pressure for length instead of girth. I did this for a while without noticing the buildup as I kept the glans ring on most of the time.
One day when I removed the ring, I noticed a really hard ring all around the glans. I had a bit of edema as well - not quite as bad as yours, but the hardness of this ring was really worrying me. I went through all the same feelings and anxiety as you did, wondering if I should go to see a doctor but really didn’t want to unless it was absolutely necessary. I stopped pumping all together for a few days and didn’t notice any change.
After more researching online, I decided to try the low pressure pumping again and since I did that, the ring started to get gradually softer and softer and finally it feels almost like normal.
Letting it sit there on its own would have probably taken much longer to heal. At the very least, you need to give it a regular massage to try and break up the "clog". Now I stick to lower level pumping - 7inHg max! A 20 min session before bed is all I need to keep it pumped throughout the day.
Hope that helps.
