In the beginning I had poor or no erections. Erections without manual stimulation were impossible. But later on the warm feeling occasionally returned. And the latest development has been that sometimes, in the beginning for just 2-4 days and later from 1 week to 10 day periods, the penis has been somewhat normal. The weird thing is that my penis seems to suddenly totally relax. And after just a few hours It´s behaving normally. The difference is like between night and day. Still, if you would experience similar development, be prepared for setbacks. It´s hard to accept that your penis is shrinking and getting cold again after a few healthy and normal days. I´ve had maybe 5-6 of these healthy periods since july. They keep my spirit up. When just touching or kissing a girl makes you hard you know the healing has advanced.
For me I think massage helped in the beginning, but nowadays I think touching and fondling my penis just makes it more rigid. Taking total breaks from touching my dick often helps after a few days.
I have only done light jelqing with no erection a few times. And jelqing was hard because of the rigidity. The penis first responded by more rigidity (max 3 hours), but after a few days the morning erections improved clearly. In fact in was the first erection since easter 2006 that felt good. I then stopped jelqing and my penis was good and horny for a couple of days (I was on a trip). But then it shriveled again and the aching continued for maybe two weeks. After that it got better than ever during my injury, and completely without jelqing!! It was then good for maybe ten days or so. And then again it shriveled. I´m thinking my masturbation played a part in that..
Now it´s been cold or rigid for a week. I´m still waiting for it to heal itself again as I believe jelqing cannot be all too healthy as I think high blood pressure inside the penis is what causes the problem. I might be wrong though, but I´m thinking I´m going to give natural healing a chance.
One big problem for me is that when my dick suddenly feels normal I start to feel normal. And let me tell you after a long pause of sexuality, it’s really hard not to masturbate when it suddenly feels good. And it could be the reason why my condition often gets worse again.
A few things about the symptoms:
I think the weirdest thing are the spasms. I also have for the whole time experienced weird pc-spasms. Whenever my penis feels normal and healthy again, the need/urge for pc-spasm disappears. One theory I came up with was that the spasms temporarily increase blood pressure in the corpora cavernosa, and may affect these valve inlets?? But I still haven´t figured out why the spasms occur? They are really hard to control and they occur most often when I´m sitting.
Thank you for letting me share this
229, my conditions seem pretty similar to yours. Even I had suddenly started a 30 minute session instead of a 10 minute session. I was terribly upset to see my penis unable to respond. I had been away from PE exercises and was on a total rest with occasional warm packs and mild massage.
I have recently found signs of development but I will avoid any masturbation for some more time due to what you had experienced.
I would recommend drinking water (as Zonqor advised me in one of the previous posts) but also to cut down on smoking and get back to a healthy diet with lots of fruits and juices. I hopefully got good signs of development from ‘no signs of life’ and no morning wood to erect penis with regular morning wood.
If others are interested I will provide more details of the changes I had incorporated.
Hope everyone in the Injuries forum get healed soon.
Hats off to you avocet8. :)
