Help - Permanent Glans Damage from Extending?

Help - Permanent Glans Damage from Extending?

Hi all,

8 months ago I gave up on extending and PE after 1000 hrs logged and zero gains. I would always take breaks every 45min/hr to restore bloodflow and always warmed up and warmed down before/after. Towards the end I started to notice some splotchy bruising on my glans - I would wait until it disappeared after a week or two, and then resume, but it always came back. Frustrated, I gave up.

For the last 8 months now I have had a faint reddish circle around my glans, and slight purplish discoloration towards the tip. It’s only visible when flaccid (especially in colder temperatures) and goes away when erect. Although everything still functions the same, the possibility that I have done permanent damage is haunting me endlessly. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, and if it eventually cleared up or was permanent for them.

FWIW, I have had no problems with my erections, but have been suffering from premature ejaculation (possibly mental?) ever since noticing this. I plan to see a urulogist soon.

I would post this in the injuries forum but do not have access yet.

I have not had such an injury from an extender, however, the extender does make other injuries visible. I had a blister from the Phallosan that healed about four months ago. Ever since, the site turns a darker colour by the end of an extender set. I think it is still visible for a few hours after I’m done with the extender for the day. I’ve had blisters in the past, but, if this extender darkening ever occurred, it went away and I forgot. Overuse of the Phallosan can also cause some darker spots on my glans tip. I think the extender makes that darker too. It gets darker still if I let the extender set go too long (more than 30min).
For months, I was trying to stay in the extender for as long as possible (1.5 hour was my max before circulation or device failure). Eventually, I switched to 30min max sets with a short break to improve circulation and grip. I never had any injuries from the 1.5 hour sets. Your mileage may vary, I suppose.

Maybe massaging your glans every time you take a whiz or a shower would hasten the healing.

I forgot to mention that I have not had any erectile, ejaculatory, or sensory issues from the extender or the Phallosan. I hope that is some encouragement that you are probably fine.

Hey man, thanks for the reply! As far as I can tell my glans discoloration/bruising is just cosmetic as everything seems to be functioning the same, but it’s stressing me out to no end and I can’t stop obsessively checking my glans

F it has been going on for 8 months now, what do you suppose the likelihood is I can actually make my flaccid glans go back to normal? Or should I just accept that it may be permanent and live with it

You are not doing any PE or anything recently that could be extending the problem?
Since responding, I have been struggling with glans discolouration myself. It seems to be from supplements making my penis in particular susceptible to minor bruise-like injuries. The problem with the extender making an old blister site has finally subsided for a total of ~6 months to fully recover from the blister. Now, my glans gets dark red or purple spots from the extender and Phallosan. Lately, pumping bruises the outer skin (but not the more delicate inner foreskin somehow). These injuries only take 1-3 days to heal and I continue to PE through them (with less duration than I would like though). I was taking low dose aspirin and Horny Goat Weed which are both blood thinners. In the month since quitting those, the problem has been improving. I also quit Damiana (just in case) and Ashwaganda (can act as a blood thinner). I mention these because maybe you are taking something that is exacerbating your problem.

I would not suggest that you need to believe the discolouration to be permanent to move on, but to see it as a minor matter that may resolve in time. If your function is good, then try to calm down about what seems like a cosmetic issue. You’re not a dick model, right? Heck, it’s best to calm yourself no matter what so you can think clearly and maximize your performance.
I have a note about a skin lightening product that might be helpful:
“Admire My Skin Dark Spot Corrector Remover for Face - Brightening Serum Fade Cream - Melasma Treatment Cream”
Darkening Treatment

For me, I am not worried about discolouration. I use visuals as a gauge of injury. If everything feels and functions fine, I just monitor the colour and pull back my routine if it seems to be leading to something worse. If discolouration is a price of PE, so be it as long as function is not lost. I might try a lightening product some day largely because I am interested in reducing a birthmark.
