inguinal hernia surgery question

inguinal hernia surgery question

Kinda nervous about this surgery
Does this surgery have any risk with me losing my gains from PE? Or will this surgery have any side effects of penis shrinkage?

Anyone gone through this?

Yup. In and out, no big deal. Back to work in 3 days and back to exercise/regular lifting in a couple of weeks. Dont see how it could impact PE. Maybe no hanging heavy weight for the 2 weeks, so do other activities.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7.75” BPEL; 7.25” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

That good news, I was thinking from any of the surgery procedure done if there was scar tissue that caused shrinking internally or related.

Went in through the belly button and the crease of the thigh near the balls, maybe a 3rd place on the belly but don’t remember. It’s lipo so small incisions (small scars) and not through pubic muscles so mostly non intrusive. Dont want to be very active for the 2 weeks so the mesh doesnt get pulled away.

Wow interesting!
How long after surgery do you think if would be ok to resume hanging and PE?

You will need to decide that but I would think light exercises after a week and at least two, or when the dr releases you from any restrictions, before hanging.

Thank you for the advice.
I’m like 10 years deep in PE haha and winced at this procedure. I appreciate the positive support!
With nothing shrinking and I can try back to lifting and sex, sounds like it will be a breeze.

Take a month off from PE. Also try to avoid vicoden because the constipation is the source of the most pain.

My only issue was when I was struggling with ED. Bumping the scar gave me a numbing feeling and caused me to lose my erection. I lost a bunch of weight and kicked a porn habit and the problem went away and now I can use that scar numbness to last longer.

I had a non-mesh repair in 2018 since I was scared of potential long term irreversible pain from mesh complications.

It’s slightly more invasive since it isn’t done laparoscopically, but I was able to resume pretty much all normal activities 8 weeks after surgery. Most of the healing was done within 4 weeks though.

I wasn’t doing PE at the time though so I can’t tell you how long after I would have been able to resume it…

I’m personally really happy I went with the non-mesh repair and am totally pain free except when I over-eat carbs and get some inflammation, then I can feel a little soreness in the area where the hernia repair is.

I had to do a bit of research to find a doctor who does non-mesh repairs though… and there was literally only one doctor within 300miles of me.

STARTING: BPEL: 5.9in EG: 5.0in

2018: BPEL: 6.7in EG: 5.3in

NOW (start 1/2024): BPEL: 6.9in. EG: 5.4in
