Potential for Hemosiderin Staining

So I came across this stuff today: Hemosiderin – Bruising - AMERIGEL® Advanced Skin and Wound Care

I wrote to the company and asked for evidence regarding their product and a lady sent me a case study of 3 women using their product for hemosidering staining with success. I asked what in their product was for staining and she said it was the oak extact.

So, I don’t really know what I’m doing but I figured I may as well buy some oak extract and try it out. There are a few on amazon. The one I’m getting is an alcohol extract. This paper here says alcohol acts as a skin penetration enhancer, so that’s good.

Safety evaluation of topical applications of ethanol on the skin and inside the oral cavity

I googled hemosiderin and oak extract and there are no results, so I’m not sure where the company is getting that information, but I suppose it’s worth trying out. If this is something that would actually work for hemosiderin that would be incredible.

Also there are no threads here for discolouration and apple cider vinegar (which supposedly helps). Anyone tried it?
