Red Spot On Shaft

Red Spot On Shaft

There is a bright red mark on the top of my shaft for over a year now and it is slowly enlarging. It is about the size of a dime now. The skin is very red and sore looking but there is no pain or sensitivity. The skin is not an open sore - it is just red. I stopped pumping for over 10 days now and there is no change. I tried using Aquaphor, Lubriderm, A+D, Cortisone 10. I used these after my pumping sessions and continued applying now after I stopped. Is this a serious problem or will it heal itself with more time off from pumping. Is there a treatment that will speed up the healing process?

So both the spot and your pump routine have been going on for a year now? Is it correct to say that you think the spot originated from your pump routine and you put up with it for a year as it got larger and larger?

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Yes correct.

I believe this is called bruising which is stagnated blood in your skin. Similar to the red dots we’ve all had, but I’m not sure as I’ve never pumped.

It could take as long as a 2 to 3 month break for that spot to disappear and even then, it might not completely disappear.

I had some pretty extensive discoloration from pumping and it all disappeared with the exception of one very small spot after a long 3 month break. When I returned to pumping I started out with low pressure and increased slowly over time. Even now, when I can safely reach a pressure of 8”hg by the end of my 25 minute routine, I always start my routine with low pressure and increase slowly in 5 minute increments. I also pump every other day. By using this method I now maintain a very healthy looking penis.

What about you stop PE and go to a doctor if it doesn’t improve in two weeks time?!

Why would you PE over an injury really, penis is precious , be careful with it.

Yes it does seem like bruising from stagnated blood. I stopped pumping for about 2 weeks now and it is beginning to look much better - light pink now and much less noticeable. I will use the advice from gprent when I begin pumping again and that will not happen until it is gone completely. I was a very heavy pumper - everyday. I will try the 25 minute routine and every other day, sounds good to me. Thanks all for giving your advice.
