I just want to report that I have gone a bit numb in where the ligaments stretch on the top side of the base of my penis. I feel as this is a consequence of hanging and microtear but I am not sure? Should I maybe dial it back?

Could this probably be the dorsal nerve adjusting itself?

I only did vac hanging and sometimes some dry jelqs in between sets. And yes, Angion- AM I did previously.

Hard to say, take a break and if it improves, then you have something… Nothing gets hurt when your resting.

My dick is still numb after 3 days, I sometimes feel cold’ sensations and the feeling I get when I overtrained a tendon in the gym.

I am not sure about what other people write in this forum, are injuries like less sensitivity often reversable? I mean, that is the impression I get.

i dont know how much time you have hanging but thats an advanced exercise, dry jelq is intermediate to advance and jelqing is not that good for PE, maybe you will have to rest about 4-6 weeks and apply something, go to a doctor if you still feel like that in a week.

Injuries affecting sensitivity are of course reversible, but it takes a lot of time, minimum a month or so.

Depends from the gravity of your injury of course.

Alright, today I feel more sensitivity in my shaft but it seems to come in periods. I’m holding out.

1 month you say. Can you give me a rule of thumb for when to go back to hanging? Of course I will start out light, I only did 1pound and will resume there with less time.

Hi I recently posted about numbness but I did not do it formally with Firegoats questions(You have a problem? What you need to tell us first! ), now I have answered the issued questions below:

Age: 24 years old

I work out on gym 5 times/week and I am not overweight, nor do I smoke or drink.

I do not take any described medication.

I eat a healthy diet with fibers and greens. I do eat supplements in form of vitamin D, whey and creatine.

I am not a stressed person and I do not have any known medical health conditions.

Symptoms include numbness or loss of sensitivity in shaft. Possibly some loss of sensitivity in glans too but that seems to be ok. Also, I have an aching pain on the side of my glans that occurs after masturbating, or randomly once every couple of days.

The symptoms became better in terms of being completely numb for the first 4 days after the initial occurrence. Now I sometimes have good sensitivity but it varies from hour to hour. It has been 3 weeks since.

What makes the symptoms better/worse?: Masturbating makes the dick hurt somewhat afterwards so none of that is the goal but I end up reluctantly masturbating once a week. In general, it seems to get better when I have not masturbated in a while. Other than this I am not sure anything affects the condition.

The numbness is the strongest in the morning and evening.

Position does not seem to matter other than that sitting seems to make my unit less numb.

I have not seen any medical professional or done any tests.

(Be very honest here, or no-one can really help you, e.g. Don’t say you did a few gentle jelqs if you strangled you penis, or that you did a bit of stretching if you stretched as hard as you could, or that you tried clamping if you wore a constricting device all night…)] :

I had not done any previous PE except 1 minute downwards stretches and Angion method every other day during the month before. What I did then was I started hanging and did 2 x 20 minute (1 lb) sessions with breaks two times a day 5 days a week, then the second week I added another 20 minute session each day. On the third week I added another 20 minute session per day. During this third week I lost my foam tape so I decided to do the shopping-bag method by gripping under the glans ridge. The shopping bag method went well for three days but then after one of these hanging sessions I did AM 1 afterwards (where you stroke the shaft towards your base). The angion method went well without pain but after this I went numb.

What seems obvious is that the pain in the side of my glans that occurs sometimes, that pain occurred because of my grip during the shopping bag method. Other than that I only suspect the dorsal nerve (on top of the penis) has been stressed or strained.

Please comment regarding your experience or suggestion.

Sorry to hear that, you should definitely consult someone and hold off on PE for a while. I would massage and stretch it gently once a day to monitor improvements.

If you have a girlfriend you should tell her about this injury. Would suggest to keep sex to foreplay until it’s back to normal.

Stop PE and masturbation for at least 2 weeks or until you can go a few days without feeling numb. Give it a gentle massage daily but don’t go beyond that. My guess is you pinched a nerve hanging with the shopping bag method. Honestly not really sure what the setup is for that anymore but it can’t be as safe as a traditional hanging setup.

I need to masturbate though, will I still get over this if I masturbate lets say once a week?

Update related to sensation and ache:

I still experience zero sensation of my penis being mine from time to time. In general zero sensation when I hold it, if not in the glans. I mostly feel it when I stroke it, although little on the sides. If I gently massage the deeper tissues, I can feel :) Furthermore there isn’t any hurt anymore after masturbation, but these last weeks the penis has become a hard rubbery flaccid for some days after masturbating which messes with the sensation tests.
Lastly, I have felt the feeling of muscle recovery-soreness around the base and on the left side, I think this is good although I have not done PE since more than two months back now.

Please chime in to reassure me or refer me to common knowledge.

Question:
I additionally wonder if there is any cream to heal nerves or if red light therapy would help, does anyone have a clue?

Hello, I thought I posted..

Well, I went to an urologist but he only said that he ‘believe’ that it will be fine if I don’t do anything agressive sexually for some time. He told me to be careful. What I told him may have mattered, I told him that I pulled my penis and that injured it with symtoms like numbness, lymphvessels (flaccid vein-like things)) appearing, hard flaccid (not the condition but the literal meaning) which makes my penis sensitive but numb and that the nerves in my legs were affected in the beginning of the sickness. All said and done but the last part about the nerves in my feet was when I began to do a hanging routine while I also practiced reverse kegels, it subsided later on sometime before the injury.

That is it. Now I let time decide and hopefully my few moments of careful masturbation won’t delay healing.
