Those little red dots...

I seem to get them whenever I do Ulis or slow dry jelqs at high erection levels. I usually only get a couple, and my dick is pretty unconditioned because I’ve been seldom PEing at more than 10 minutes every couple days. The point of this thread is I’m wondering how detrimental they are to erection quality/gaining. And are you doing permanent damage when you get them, or do the busted capillaries (which I think cause them) grow back? I’ll do what I can to prevent them, but I’d like to know if these red dots are making my mild ED worse and if they are indicators of more serious damage going on below the surface.

PS: These are on the shaft and not the head—sometimes occurring directly on a vein.

I think everyone gets them, from time to time. They seem to disappear rather quickly, (several hours), and because of that, I don’t worry.

Yea I am getting them as well and I do dry jelqs at high erection levels as well. I was starting to get worried. I hope they really are nothing to worry about.

Dimitri, listen to your your dick. If you perform high level exercises without condition, your dick will complain. Red spots are usually a mild indicator of dick stress and will go away with rest, warm wraps and massage. Your mild ED however may also suffer further if you’re stressing the vessels way too much. Go easy and become consistant is the way to go, then reevaluate using ULI’s and the like.

I always got PLENTY of those red dots. I have never worried about them and they have never caused me any problems.

I believe the consensus is that red spots are signs you are doing it too hard, or wrong. I understand some of us have linked it to the issue of permanent discoloration if you often have lots of red spots showing up, maybe this is right.

I have had one red spot in 5 months, disappeared in a couple of hours. Perhaps I go too easy on him but I’m not in a hurry.

For me it is important that I feel the intensity. Otherwise I do not belive in the exercises.
Since I have been doing this for 5 months and had red dots all the time I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
It is a question of knowing your body/penis.

I have also noticed that some exercises are much worse causing lots of dots, e.g bundled stretches. And the fact that I never use warm-ups/warm-downs certainly increases the discoloration, but I am willing to pay that price.

Everyone has their own pace and intensity in life. I like intensity in everything I do.

Oden

It is an interesting issue, Oden. We will never be able to determine who are doing the hardest workouts, who has the most rugged body, etc. For sure intensity is required to achieve something here, like you say Oden. Variables like warmup method maybe can be linked to the red spotting, and what kind of lube we use if any.

Maybe it is possible to set up simple questionnaire-like polls for finding patterns like that? Thundersplace is populated by a bunch of dedicated action researchers, if we only had the tools to see the patterns of our results.

They’re small bruises.

They’ll go away.

They are merely little capillaries near the surface of the skin that have burst. They will heal.

*I measure PRE-WORKOUT, normal erection* Started: 7 EBP x 4.9 EG. Several years on and off PE, now 8.125 EBP length x 5.5 EG midshaft (5.8 base). Working on girth (clamping) again after breaks due to injuries - fast recent gains! Pics

I got my first red dots on the shaft today after 1 month of PE. I usually soak right after stretching just to be safe (as well as before stretching). Today I didn’t soak after stretching and got the dots. Could be coincidence. I will keep a close eye on it and see how long they take to go away.

Has anyone done further damage doing PE with red dots showing?

I got 4 dots for the first time yesterday. two big ones, two smaller. My smaller ones have faded within 24 hours. My larger ones are still pretty ugly. I can upload a pic to show if necessary. Are you sure it’s safe to keep jelqing and stretching?

I’m really paranoid about my brown/red dots. They seem pretty big to me. I’m really worried it will be risky to continue PE or masturbate. I suppose I’d like someone to review my pictures and tell me I’m just being overly paranoid.

How can I upload a photo?

Doesn’t anyone read this thread? ;)

After 72 hours of rest the three smaller brown dots have mostly healed. The larger one is STILL three mm.
I haven’t had sex or masturbated for 72 hours due to fear of injuring myself further.
I really want to get some. How soon will it be safe to get some with this type of injury? BTW, I’m not in any pain.
