What to do about hard skin on glans from vacuum head?

Appears to be whitish in color.

Does it go away in time?
Any treatment necessary?

Just out of the hanger, or still hard a long time later? If it’s just out of the hanger, the whitish color is from lymph buildup.

I’ve only heard of long time hardness when someone is sensitive and has repeatedly gone over the limit and developed blisters or nearly developed blisters. Which seems to repair itself, new skin forming underneath.

A long time later. Feels like hard skin where it makes contact with vacuhead.
Doesn’t hurt but doesn’t look good to a girl seeing it for first time :/

I use the smaller vacuum head on the traction device - not hanging - about 8hrs/day, about 1.5 hrs at a time plus breaks.

So it eventually goes away if you stop using the vacuum head then..

Sounds like your soft skin is desperately trying to toughen up to survive the longterm load…

I have hard skin at my tip from vacuum hanging. It eventually peels off and reveals fresh soft skin. The thing is, if you continue to use a vacuum device your skin will probably continue to remain rough, because the new skin will tend to harden up as well. This is what I have found.

The hard skin at the tip of my glans returned to normal after I quit vacuum hanging.

Well I’m glad to hear that the skin does harden, because I’d rather have temporarily hardened skin than blisters. If you look at ticktick’s new ideas of hanging thread or search for calcification, I think you can find particular medicated motion he recommends for calcified glans.

Aggro - you are experiencing ‘keratinization’ of your glans.

Damfino - you are experiencing ‘edema’ of the glans, just a little fluid accumulation in the tissue. Normal when hanging relatively long time and/or high weights.
