When is discoloration dangerous?

I’ve looked over hundreds and hundreds of threads but I cannot find out if discoloration can be dangerous on deep levels.

I’m considering starting out with an intense clamping routine and I know that I easily get discoloration at my unit, but as long as it isn’t causing any harm, I’m just gonna ignore it. I don’t really care if my whole unit turns red, as long as it stays on my body and gets bigger :) . So, can discoloration be of any harm? I’ve had not only visible, but also touchable/feelable discoloration, like tiny knobs - any difference?

Discoloration is not usually a paroblem. But if you have spots as well you are getting signs you are overdoing things I’ts possible it is either water blisters or blood blisters that are being discoloured by the discoloration if you see what I mean.

It would be best if you stopped doing things until the bumps have gone. and take things a little slower. As it is you might be ignoring the discoloration to your penis’s detriment.
