We primarily use inHg (inches mercury) for units of measurement. There are so many other units that can be used which can cause confusion when a member gets a gauge and the measurement units are unfamiliar to him. Besides inHg we most often see mmHg, but then can occasionally see psia, atm, bar, mbar, torr, Pa, kPa, 100kPa, and more.
