Armpit sweating

If you have a chance, go swimming frequently to the sea at summer. It’s great for the itches there, they just go away.

Start: 6.9 BPEL x 4.9 (17,5 x 12,5 cm)

Gut,

I had the same problem. I use AlCl - AluminiumChloride. I think it’s a main ingredient of all the deodorants out there but the doses are pretty small. You should get it in your local pharmacy as a cheap liquid or in some kind of applicator. I use it 3-4 times a week before bed and I’m dry all the time. Don’t use too much of it in the beginning though or it will start burning like hell. Good luck!

Gut,

For me, anti-perspirants are the main culprit. I’ve now given up on them, but until a year ago I kept trying, and wound up with more sweat - and stinkier sweat, lot’s stinkier.

Caffeine, anxiety and mental stress makes is worse of course, but using only a deoderant (beware of the ingredient list - lots contain all kinds of strange stuff as well) has reduced the amount of sweat to next to nil, under normal conditions.

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

I’ve had this problem myself for years, the only antiperspirant that worked for me was OLD SPICE CLASSIC, ORIGINAL OR FRESH scent give that a try.

Thanks again for all your suggestions. I’ve trimmed my pit hairs and that has helped somewhat! I think it probably helps the antiperspirant get better contact with skin. I’m going to mix things up every week or so with your suggestions and see what works best for me.

Gut Scramblin' goodness.

Same here, pits a free of hair and I use the crystal deodorant stick it is not an anti-perspirant (I don’t think) but it works nicely no smell and less sweat. The ingredient I think is the same as Mcnitro mentioned AlCl - AluminiumChloride, oh yeah I have also cut my coffee intake to the bare minimum I mostly drink tea now, I think that helps alot.

Yo shaving is even better, shaving my arm pits, no problems. No smells.

If it does itch, it’s only the first couple of times you do it. I’ve never experienced a problem, and I don’t shave every day. I do it about once a month.

[edit}Here is an article by a dermatologist on excessive sweating.

The stink is not from the sweat, but from bacteria excrement. Trim pit hair. Keep them clean. 2x/day. Soap/water. Clindomyasin every so often will do wonders.

I use Arm & Hammer Ultra Max deodorant which has amazingly instant effect on the stinky body odor. It is not expensive; I paid like $1.00 for 3.0 Oz stick. Very effective. Just try it.

Gut,

I second Mgus’ viewpoint. Anti perspirents aren’t healthy for you.

I used to sweat all the time - I still do but not to the point where I’m “pitted out” all the time.
Main things I did:
1) Changed to a healthier diet
2) Excersize more often
3) Dropped anti-perspirents
4) Silk t shirts in the winter (honest - they help)

These things boosted my self confidence which also helped a lot.

I also sweat in the cold (just further proof excessive sweating isn’t from being too hot - don’t shave your pits that is not the cause). I hate cold beads of sweat dropping down and hitting my sides.

I was dreaming when I thought it couldn't done, but now I know I have work to do.

Came with: NBPEL 5.875, EG @ Scarline 4.5 Mustered up: 7 x 5 Looking for: 9 x 6 Will settle for: 8 x 5.5
