Viagra is helpful to some women, especially older women or women who have had trauma to the region. But even in those subgroups it doesn’t outperform a placebo. Placebo effect is very strong in something like this, obviously.
I haven’t had women try DHA on an ad hoc basis, I usually recommend a full diet and exercise program. But I was alarmed with your joke about dosing women; I’m so relieved it was a joke! Was just trying to offer up a safe alternative to something like that. I think 1000 mg of DHA would work for women—probably easiest on the digestion to get it in something concentrated. That would be eight or nine of regular drugstore fish oil, probably better to use the Carlson’s Super-DHA.
