Has anybody noticed a effect of creatine on there dicks? I have heard that it can lower your testosterone and make your dick smaller. Probably not true. Anyway, creatine does make your muscle tissue softer because it retains water, so it then would make your erections softer?

It has been a long time since I have checked some facts about creatine, but I don’t know any reason why creatine would lower testosterone level. Also if it would be true (and known), then creatine surely wouldn’t be so popular product in bodybuilding.
If I have got it right, creatine doesn’t make muscle tissue softer. It just becomes more puffier (larger), because there is more water and so it enhances the muscle tissue’s functions.

I have used creatine for bodybuilding while doing PE and I haven’t seen any noticeable change to any direction, that could be credited for creatine.


Keep soft tissue soft.

I used creatine on a proper basis back in my high school years as a sprinter and in conjunction with a heavy gym program and a lot running it did nothing but wonders; It does not have an negative effect on your testosterone levels or even manipulate them in any way what so ever. Our bodies are different and for some unknown reason even when dosing with creatine my body does not retain much water and thus the puffy muscles have not been noted as much.

I’ve noticed by taking nitric oxide supplements that it seems to help with p.e. Stretches.

Your body makes creatine naturally (phospho-creatine) and is used as an immediate energy source (breaking the phosphate from the creatine). Taking creatine is like stock piling more of this energy for that extra ‘kick’ you may need before you tire out.

Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, it would help with bloodflow to the penis. Viagra uses this principle.

Testosterone is produced in the leydig’s cells in your testicles, the precursor hormone (leutenizing hormone) is produced from the anterior pituitary gland which gets the signal from the hypothalamus - this is all up at the brain.

Edit: sorry, basically creatine and nitric oxide are chemicals from natural metabolic processes your body goes through… testosterone is a hormone.

Your body creates creatine, and it contains in fish and red meat. Recommanded doses are 5 grams daily, but for you to consume it from food would take a long time.

My input, I was using creatine for several months and I didn’t notice any shrinkage.

I believe that the creatine dick shrinking characterist is a myth. People confuse it for steroids(which also has the penis myth) and therefore conclude that it has negative side effects.

I have never heard of creatine lowering testosterone levels, and I will put my money down that is doesn’t. But….If it did in fact lower testosterone levels then why should it have any effect on penis size?

Now it could possibly have the illusion of making your penis smaller by dehydrating the body. Creatine fills the muscles with water which could neglect other body parts. The simple solution is to drink lots of water so that your body can compensate.

I have taken Creatine and have actually noticed quite the opposite effect, I have a nice flaccid with creatine.

I’ve been using creatine off and on since 1992. Here’s what I’ve learned since then:

Creatine does not dehydrate your body… in fact it helps you stay hydrated. Not drinking enough water is what causes dehydration. Hardcore bodybuilders should be drinking at least 1 gallon of water per day.

Creatine causes the muscle cells to retain more water than normal. This gives you more volume, more leverage and more contractile strength (i.e. weights that used to be heavy, get lighter). When you stop using creatine cold turkey, you literally piss away this extra water/leverage and your muscles come back to normal. They may get flatter before returning to normal size. To minimize this, creatine usage should be slowly tapered down over a 1-2 week period.
