Because of this thread I ordered 100g of cayenne and 100g ginger powder of ebay. It cost £2.80.

On day three dosing half a teaspoon of each twice a day, first thing in the morning and with my evening meal. I am loving it! I have had nocturnal erections like this for ages. I usually wake with an 60-80% erection in the morning but at the moment even if I wake in the middle of the night and need a pee i’m ready to go 100% hard. This is crazy. Twinlab Yohimbe on its own is pretty good, but I’d like to see if the Ginger and Cayenne add something.

Kroger sells 500g of Cayenne for about $2.50 so you guys that have Kroger near by stop in there for your Cayenne. I couldn’t find Ginger in a large container of 500g though.

Is most everyone doing twice a day? I just started today, cayenne is crazy. I took it like 30mins after the ginger and could totally feel it. Didn’t notice the ginger much. Something else to note, On the bottles it said the ginger was for minor motion sickness and the cayenne was for a metabolism boost.

OK guys, let me give some new food to think on concerning Cayenne pepper. I haven’t seen anyone here mention Heat Units

If you want to take the time to find it, what I have to tell you came from a book called “Left for Dead” by Dick Quinn.

Cayenne pepper strength is measured in Heat Units.

There quite a few different kinds or varieties of cayenne powder. All have a different Heat Unit ratings.
Grocery store spice variety is roughly 4000 hu’s
There are others that you can purchase a herbal stores that will get you up to 10,000 hu
There some very good varieties that are rated at 30,000 hu
Then we start breaking into the upper range of the peppers. which come in at 90,000 hu
Last but not least are the African Birdseye which have a 180.000hu rating

Those are the ones I’ve been taking daily for the last 10 years. They will make you very ill when the capsule breaks in your stomach if there isn’t something there first. This variety will open all capillaries and make you sweat. Very powerful stuff. It is the way to make sure what you take with it gets to where you want it to go.

So what kind are you taking guys?

Yes, I’m interested in hearing what everyone is taking, particularly those that are seeing positive signs.

Are you mixing your own drink?
Are you making your own capsules?
Are you taking pre-packaged capsules?

And based on all of these, what results are you seeing? I think if we had all of this from the various people taking it, it may give some of us a better idea of what to do. Right now, it looks like people are making their own drinks out of it, but I’d like to get a clearer picture myself.

Yes 180K. You don’t capsule this stuff without gloves and you don’t rub your eyes while doing it.

I opened the one and then got sidetracked went back and opened the other.

My pepper is 40,000 heat units.
After taking one of them I think 180k would be too much for me to handle. I’m thinking I may take mine part way through a meal rather than after.

How do you know how many heat units it is? I got my cayenne pepper powder from Giant and it’s by Spice Islands, but I don’t see its “hu” anywhere.

Also, what exactly does it mean? I’m guessing it is how hot it is, but would it also give better blood flow or better benefits if it is higher, and if so, what kinds of benefits?

It won’t say HU, but STU at least that’s what it says on mine.

O wow. I just got 66 grams of Cayenne powder for around $5 and 54 grams of ginger powder for $7 from Giant… I guess these aren’t good prices.

I remember reading that you should store ginger in the fridge (or was it freezer?) and in a zip lock bag. The ginger powder I got came in a small glass jar and was not in a fridge or anything. Should I store it in a cabinet or in the fridge or what? Likewise with the Cayenne powder that came in a glass jar, where should i store it?

Another question- do I need to heat up the ginger and cayenne powder or can I just put it in the tea in stir? That is, will I get more benefits out of these if I heat them up or does it work just as well otherwise?

If anybody can answer these two questions I would greatly appreciate it.

The store that I buy my bulk herbs from displays the heat unit rating to the particular product. Some Cayenne’s are yellow others are orange and some are almost brown. Check with the store for details.

Mine is 40,000. They did offer an 80,000 but I thought it would mess with my stomach.

FYI, after only 2 days on Cayenne and Ginger twice a day I am walking around with a semi. My EQ last night during sex was awesome.
