I think you might get more of a response by narrowing it down to one drug/supplement because they all do different things.

I have found that locating a manufacturer of the drug is a good place to start.

Although they usually have great praise for their product, they will also state what it’s supposed to do or how it supposedly does it (or the concept behind it).

From there you can search the web using keywords lifted from the manufacturer’s page. This usually results in the truth being discovered - if it’s available.
