I want to boost my HGH and testosterone levels...

Hmm, thaks for all of the great replies guys.

One thing I did notice is that I always eat a meal, or more than I should before I go to bed. Most of the stuff I eat is unhealy, hi-carb items. I have stopped that. I also went to the gym last night for a workout (been a few weeks). I did the 30 second sprint thing too.

I have yet to decide which supplement I am going to take however. I think I will try GABA for the HGH as per Man-of-10s instructions.

As for testosterone, I don’t know because I am only 18 and still have occasional acne.

Goal: 6.5" x 5.25" NBP

The GABA powder can be disolved in water and drank; it tastes slightly sweet. Start with 1g and increase by 0.5g each day until you reach 3-4g. At the beginning, I tried 4g straight off the bat and had a real bad stomach ache. I went back down to 1g and built it up. Now I am taking 4g every night(it aids deep sleep too).

I would recommend 3-4g 30 minutes before your workouts, as was done in the study:

And yeah about the testosterone. My levels are going to go through the roof when I start taking the Nettle Root. But I have a good number of methods to combat the negative effects, so I shouldn’t get any such as acne or hair loss.

If you’re only 18 stay away from anything that helps you produce more or convert (ie. Pro or pre hormones) into test. Right not you havd more than enough test in your blood to get the results you desire with hard work and dedication. You can greatly harm your body especialy your endocrine system by messing with pro hormones and activators. I would stick with products that affect SHBG. High doses of reservratol(?) works well for anti-aromatase as anothe option.

If you decide to supplement with GABA, get the powder or the pills. It starts to break down if it stays in water too long. Don’t buy those already made shakes. Those are just smart marketing.

The supplement I was recommending(Divanil) works by binding to SHBG; thus is increases free testosterone significantly.

Do note that at least 1/10 of men have a varicolcele, which will significantly reduce testosterone levels regardless of age.

Are you stacking that with an aromatase inhibitor man-of-10? If your free testosterone doubles (as I’ve seen in at least one log), that would also double estrogen levels due to aromatisation. Just wondering what you’re doing to combat that.

Yeah I’ll be stacking it with icariin(PDE5 inhibitor to reduce DHT- I don’t want to lose hair or suffer form acne, it also has testosterone mimetic properties) as well as Indole-3-carbinol(mild aromatase inhibitor but is great at reducing “bad” estrogen). As for the dosages of these- I’m still researching, but rough estimates are 300mg 60% icariin and 400mg I3C.

In addition I’ll be testing out Zane’s fish oil diet, which will signifiacntly lower my SHBG levels, reducing aromatase activity. Also remember, and big increase of free testosterone will also lower SHBG levels, so there is less available to bind to testosterone(converting it to estrogen).

The log on this combo, that was done by a doctor/bodybuilder, found that after 4 weeks, estrogen was significantly lower than baseline(not excessively). Both free test and DHT where up.

I’ve never seen a paper on PDE5 inhibitors blocking DHT, got a source on that one? If anything icariin’s effect on FSH and LH seem like they’d just further increase the testosterone impact (after aromatisation).

As far as I know, SHBG doesn’t convert testosterone to estrogen, it’s the aromatase enzyme, but my endocrinology knowledge is lacking and I could easily be wrong. With all this experimental hormone whackery it feels like it’d be safer to just shoot straight Test E! I’ll be interested in hearing your results.

I used to do this, and while I only maxed out around 255lbs in the end for squat, it was only fun to do when it was done properly, and with my friends in high school last year. Now at our YMCA they have a crappy squat rack, no shoulder/neck support thing, and not to mention I don’t have perfect form and never will, so it hurts my knee’s and once in a while my lower back. I loved the feeling of having all of the strength and stamina down there though.

Also, just to add, one of the causes of a firm flaccid, which I am trying to fix, is a tense lower region, or pinched nerves in the spine. I have been massaging and trying to relax these regions to see if it helps, and squating, deadlifting and other exercises like that would go against that. Sorry I do not know all of the correct and scientific names for what I speak of.

As for increasing testosterone, I am thinking against that now. You guys have made me realize it isn’t as simple as I though it would be. Perhapes later with more research on my part.

Just for knowledge, what is the quickest, cheapest, short term only way to increase testosterone?

Some sort of steroid/hormone treatment, most likely (I’m not suggesting this is safe or viable). Resistance exercise/weight lifting increases salivary testosterone post-lifting for a very short period (up to an hour) but doesn’t change resting testosterone levels. And when you increase resting free testosterone you increase estrogen, because the body converts testosterone into estrogen via aromatization, so without the appropriate precautions to prevent an estrogen rise the side effects could be severe.

What exactly are you trying to achieve via increased testosterone? Any goals such as increased libido or muscle mass gain can be achieved by other means.

Yeah I don’t really know much about it myself. Mainly from what I’ve heard over at lean bulk. Judging from what the Dr. on the forums there says about it all, it’s pretty complicated; everything seems to have a knock on effect. But yeah, using this stack, he found lower estrogen levels with higher free test.

I’ll report back.

I know many people taking dhea and with no problems about acne or anything, they´re only huge. You can start with 25mg daily, if you see some side effect, I think you stop and that´s all I guess.
