Drop that Arginine, pick up the protein
I don’t understand why so many people here pay out the ass for Arginine when you can take a decent protein powder. It might be a little bit more expensive, but if you consider that protein is responsible for building new tissue - and is chock full of l-arginine - it, to me, makes far more sense in a bodybuilding/PE regimen. True, protein powder is nasty crap but you learn to deal with it.
Maybe there is something I’m missing, I’ll give the l-arginine fans the benefit of the doubt. However, the protein that I take has 1930 mg of l-arginine per serving. It’s also more easily absorbed because it comes from food (or at least that’s what the body sees it as), not to mention the fact that it has a load of other amino acids. But, as I said, perhaps there is something I’m missing about taking l-arginine by itself.
