First off, if you don’t know what detox is, read any bottle of “colon cleanse”. It should enlighten you. Chlorella is a great detoxifier because its cell walls bind heavy metals enabling you to pass them. That is why many dentists today are advising their patients to take chlorella and/or spirulina after mercury fillings are removed, because removing those fillings shocks your body with an intense amount of free mercury.
Second, a healthy PH balance is more alkaline, which is what our bodies should be, and less acidic. Chlorella and spirulina are by far NOT the only foods and supplements that will lower your body’s PH. There are entire books written on the subject.
Third, yes it will improve your digestion by getting rid of constipation as well as feeding the ‘probiotic’ bacteria that lives in your gut.
Spirulina and Chlorella have many studies behind them, mainly out of Japan where chlorella has surpassed vitamin C in popularity, and people have actually lived over 20 years on water and chlorella alone, and in perfect health no less.
If you want to read some studies, I suggest you familiarize yourself with a site called “google”. There are literally hundreds of them.
Or, you could just continue being an imbecilic asshole and call someone stating that foods high in chlorophyll are extremely good for you and detoxifying (which is pretty much common sense I figured by now) a propagandist.
I suppose next you’ll be asking for scientific evidence that green foods are good for you in general? Would you like a dissertation on the effects of fiber on the colon?
I could care less whether you “buy” the effects of superfoods or not. Essentially you are saying the idea that green vegetables being good for you is “propaganda”. IMO you are a fool.
