Pygeum and Lecithin lowering testosterone

Pygeum and Lecithin lowering testosterone

Doing some research I noticed that Pygeum and Lecithin (soy) might lower testosterone. I have been taking both quite a while now and while it did increase my loads I am not sure if this is worth the trade off as if it does lower testosterone it would also mean lesser erections.

Anyone got some more info regarding this? It definitely seems Pygeum can bring down your testosterone level quite a bit.

I get pygeum from Piping Rock too. Ingredients do not list soy.

Been doing the "Holy Grail" stack for just about a year, nothing but positive results for me. As far as actually lowering testosterone, couldn’t tell ya, have never had my levels checked. My drive has increased tremendously since I started (not that I had issues before, just wanted more fun with the wife).

Pygeum does not have any soy in it. That’s not the reason it can lower your testosterone levels. It is because it lowers your dht levels hence why it’s used for prostrate problems and hairloss. .

So if you have low or just okay testosterone levels it might be better to stay away from pygeum

I’ve posted that in several threads in the last month.

Also, piping rock is kind of shady. Check out all the bad reviews online.

I should mention after I quit Pygeum and Soya lecithin my Testosterone is up. Though this can also be because of other supplements I am now taking.

personally I take pygeum in capsules liquid form for my prostate. however there is also a powder form and that is used for erections

I see a lot of people talking about this herb so just to clarify, Pygeum blocks enzymes that aid in the production of DHT (dihydrotestosterone), a much more potent form of testosterone. And all you get in return is increased pre-cum. Not a good tradeoff IMO.

I’m taking sunflower Lecithin and Pygeum extract capsules. Is the capsule form the same exact stuff as the powder?

I’m on TRT and haven’t noted any negative side effects since taking the grail stack. Only been about three weeks, though.

Pygeum is a DHT inhibitor, and a so-called phyto-estrogen (that’s why you see this herb pop up regularly on boob-growing forums as well). It counters the hypertrophy (swelling/volume more or less) of the prostate making people with enlarged prostates able to take a proper piss again. If you want the positive effects (precum) of pygeum I’d suggest taking a low as possible dose with which you still see effects, so to reduce any chances of growing boobs (unless you want that).
