Well, I think he looks like a koala bear. There are a few human koala bears around. Jerry Garcia was one. Stephen Stills and David Crosby are two more. I think I get along well with them. Graham Nash, however, needs to be slapped. He’s a human ferret. So’s Gary Null, come to think of it. They need to be caged.
In Weil’s case the ODA is dependant on the things I mentioned. Stressors, age, environment, lifestyle…
There’s a lot of reading I’ve done. It was sort of a while ago, so I’m not as keen as I might be. Although, I did look into the whole vitamin E scare. Turns out that vitamin E is still really good for you. That study was one of many (there are others that got different findings, but not the media attention) and the study itself had more to do with people who were already sick - so that’s not a good general indicator for the general public. Also, the story saying that all was well with vitamin E was not quite as front-page as the initial story. Whatever.
Eight Weeks is a really good book. It’s a fast read and his down to earth common sense style really appealed to me. And I got healthier. I also used it as a take off point to take better care of my body in general. So there you go.
You could always just make a book cover out of brown shopping bags like you did in school.
