Body Hair Removal

I have thin hair on my back….nothing crazy. Has anyone ever used nair or a similar hair cream remover.

Nair should work well. Pay attention to the amount of time you leave it on.

I’ve recently started to use an IPL device and I like how it works so far. I’m using it only on my armpits and for the pubic hair for now. After the summer ends, I will start using it for my back, shoulders and chest. It’s not recommended to expose the skin you used it on to the sun, for about 2 weeks after using it.

I’ll use it until next summer, when I hope I won’t need it any more, because it’s for permanent hair removal.

I also have this problem, I have hair on the upper part of my dick and it’s so uncomfortable.

For diy I found the bakblade on Amazon is amazingly easy. It’s a 5 inch wide razor on a 2 foot long handle. It takes me less than 10 minutes to shave my whole back, and believe me it’s horrible. I have only in my life seen maybe one or two men in person who are hairier than me.

Anyway, I use it once every month and a half-ish and way less in the winter. Sometimes its not bad being hairy lol.

The blade has little comb teeth just in front of it to keep the blade from cutting you up. If you have backne though it will find it, but I have never had an ingrown hair or irritated looking sandpaper-like stubble from it.

At 41 it has truly changed my grooming life. I think back to the years of my ex-wife unenthusiastically trimming my back with my electric Wahl, shaving with razors, applying Nair or myself doing all the above and ending up with a kinked neck or shoulder injury.

There is a version 1 and version 2. I have the v1 and it’s fantastic. The v2 may be better, but I have no reason to find out. The blade lasts 2 uses. After the second use I keep it around for other smaller areas (pits, thighs, rear cheeks, etc). Refills are available on Amazon for around $10 for 3. I bought a 6 pack of refills back in April and I have 3 unused and 1 on the handle that I used once the other day.

The are less expensive and similar items to the Bakblade. They’re garbage. And do yourself a favor, do not try to reverse engineer the blades. Yes, it’s just 3 old-school safety razors pressed/melted between to pieces of plastic. Yes I took it part and put new blades in. Yes, I filleted myself.

I am afraid of shaving because it just fucking itches a fucking a lot. How could I solve this? I just don’t want to feel anything after going bald.. Anyone tips?

I don’t get itchy after using the backblade. I think it’s because it uses a single blade instead of today’s normal blades that are 3 to 5 rows deep. This keeps it from shaving the hair lower than the skin surface which causes the itchiness when it grows back. Those multiblades also lead to ingrown hairs.

An electric MANGROOMER back shaver works well too.

Same here. Over six weeks I’ve seen some slowdown of hair growth, so I’m cautiously optimistic, but it’s not the follicle annihilator the ADS implied. I understand a random device off Amazon may not have the same performance as professional-grade equipment.

The device I bought has five power settings. “5” is fairly sting-ey on the pubic mound. I quickly learned it will sunburn the scrotum and taint if it’s set to anything over “2”. Yow.

I was using a depilatory called “Nad’s” before, which worked just fine; no burning or other side effects.. But the stuff smells *horrible*, and the smell doesn’t wash off; I’d get whiffs of it for the rest of the day.
