Is There A Current Standard For Manscaping?
Hey guys, I’ve tried it all from letting it all grow out to shaving it all off. Seems like the latter is a bit more common, but lots of variation even so. So do any of you guys think you know what the most common approach might be? I’m in my 40s and husky. At this point, I’m definitely not confident enough to post any manscaped selfies, but my “neck to nuts” routine goes about like this…(1) shave away any “neck beard” and ask wife to trim back of neck; (2) shave shoulders bare to the level of the clavicles or slightly higher; (3) wife shaves my back bare; (4) shave chest to around 3/4” or less; (5) shave abdomen to around 1/4” or less; (6) leave a trimmed but roughly triangle-shaped pattern between umbilicus and top of penis; (7) shave away any hairs on shaft of penis; (8) shave balls/taint bare, or use Balls Balm (like Nair/Veet, etc.; (9) leave inner thighs and rest of legs natural. I don’t have much leg hair at all, and that bothers me enough that I’m trying minoxidil on my legs. So far, my wife likes this relatively lower maintenance look. How about the rest of you? Do your significant others like what you do? Anyone go totally bare or totally natural? I wonder if guys who are younger or don’t have a partner are more inclined to be more (or less) aggressive in their trimming/shaving? So maybe tell us your age too? If you have an acceptable photo of your torso and are inclined to share, let’s see it (if it’s within the guidelines and all)…so I guess only waist-up I’m this forum? Any moderator know what the rule is for photo attachments in this forum?
