10 mg Cialis: Useless?

That’s been my experience too. My Dr. said it’s because the Viagra mechanism for vasodilation is broader vs. Cialis but the use case for Cialis is for that longer time frame. Seems to correlate with my experience.

I also needed 20mg Cialis. 10mg can work but not guaranteed.

Interesting. Also, I don’t find those longer Cialis timeframes to be comforting. Am I still good at Hour 36? Or is it 24 or 12? I suppose I need to try it more and get a bearing on it.

From my limited experience, I feel like there is a bit of an effect up to 48 hours, but that’s at 10mg for me, so we probably have pretty different sensitivity to it.

From googling, it takes 2-6 hours from taking the pill for it to reach optimum effect depending on how quickly your body processes it. You should still have a good effect 1 hour after taking it, but at 6 hours you’re pretty much guaranteed to be at the peak.

I think you’re a good candidate for actually working with a urologist or your primary doctor on finding the correct daily dosage so that you can find what concentration your body requires, and just maintain it permanently.
Recent studies show good health effects from a daily regimen. Lowers blood pressure, eases enlarged prostrate symptoms, and supposedly helps you live longer.

Good evening everyone! I was watching some youtube videos, I believe it was an interview with Sterling Cooper and he had mentioned that overtime your body will develop a tolerance to the Viagra or Cialis and require a higher dose to be effective. Have any of you experienced that? I only ask, as I had a telehealth service offer me a low dose daily Cialis prescription which I declined, but when I saw this Sterling Cooper interview it immediately popped into my head and made me curious.

What is the low dosage? I’ve found that 30 mg works for me.

My telehealth place refused to prescribe me a 30 mg dosage (meaning, a bottle of 10 mg tablets). Instead, they prescribed 20 mg and issued 20 mg tablets. Which is dumb, because it encourages the user to take 40 mg.

Glad you found the dose that works for you!

The more I think about it, the more I feel that your primary doctor is the right person to coordinate this with. I’m working up the cajones to talk to my doc about it…
It’s just awkward because he knows my wife and I swing and I’m already asking him for STI screens every couple of months… now I gotta ask him for dick pills… 😂
