10 mg Cialis: Useless?

Took an experimental Cialis yesterday. The prescription: "Take 1 tablet 1 hour before sex." Sex: me and my hand.

I waited an hour and then started operations. Nothing. Waited 2, 3, 4…6 hours. Not a thing.

And then I look at the bottle: 10 mg per tablet. Members here say that 20 mg is their preferred dosage. Why on earth would they prescribe 10 mg?

It’s not daily Cialis, either.

Probably to titrate you up, see if a smaller dose works first.

My understanding is that these drugs are prescribed low and then brought up. I don’t know the reason, just what my doc said.

Yeah, I stole one of my Dad’s own when I was younger, trying to put a good round on my wife.
Needless to say I felt nothing, was really disappointed. Not sure if it was the daily or not.

Yeah, I suppose so. They want me to come back with the old "This isn’t working" line. At that point, they up it to 20 mg or recommend something else.

I’m not waiting for them to tell me this, though.

I’ve been taking 20 mg dose for a couple years now, an hour before sex. I used to get it online RX express. I found out I was way overpaying, switched to a local pharmacy. (Much cheaper)

When I got it online it said take 20mg before sex. Worked great. The local pharmacy says cut the 20 mg in half before sex. Which I’ve been doing. Sometimes it’s fine, sometimes not. So I’m switching back to the 20mg, because I don’t get it very often. So when I do I make sure I’m good to go.

How long do you estimate 20 mg lasts?

I think the half life is 36 hours so after 36 hours you still have 10mg in your system. But real world it feels like 36 hours it’s done, that’s just for me.

Low dose was good for me when I was younger. Now I stack with Citrulline and antioxidants. I’m not recommending it just saying what works for me.

Sides from Cialis suck so I opt for 25mg viagra. If I’m feeling anxious, i’ll take 50mg to be sure.

My first Cialis scrip was 10 and it worked because I didn’t know any better then I upped to 20.
Nowadays I pace the dose with my expectations for sex. Sometimes 3 days off. Bite half a pill then ramp up. For me I don’t see any benefits above 20 in a 24 hour period. In other words, the dick doesn’t get harder, the dose stays longer. Usually 36-48 hours.
I just took 2 10mg tablets and it’s on!

I’m on a 5mg daily dose, with a 10mg if I want a boost. It takes a bout a week or two to lay the base. On weekend I may boost two nights in a row that’s a good prime no complaints here. Price is very reasonable at local pharmacy.

I got the 10mg occasional use prescription online and so far the 4 times I’ve taken it, it has worked like a charm.

It’s not a drug that makes you hard though, so you gotta make sure you don’t have unrealistic expectations.

It’s not like caverject which induces a hardon when you inject it into your dick.
It’s more like a facilitator.

You still have to provide the source of the boner.

You need to supply the arousal, it just helps translate the mental arousal into physical hard wood.

I definitely tested it under regular road conditions. Stomach was fairly empty. I was well-rested and comfortable. I viewed pictures of young women doing dirty things. Gave myself plenty of lead time. Glad I tested it before gettin’ down with the old lady. I’ll try 20 mg next time.

I would say sometimes up to 48 hrs., usually 36.

Dropped 20 mg. Cialis early in the day on an empty stomach (empty b/c blood test fasting). Swollen and randy most of the day. I had bad, lusty thoughts. Not sure if that’s Cialis or me.

Erection was great but not as insanely stiff as with Viagra. Viagra was like a cock ring. Then again, I only got 4 hours of sleep, and that always makes a difference.
