Anyone dealing w cysts on Epididymis

Anyone dealing w cysts on Epididymis

I started having some pains in my groin, I thought I may have had prostatitis or epididimitis I did have the symptoms of one of those.. I am pretty sure that I have had these cysts for a long time, I remember being told in high school to watch out but then I was told it was a swollen vein. When I was sexually active w my girlfriend I had to always tell her to be careful because my balls were sensitive.

I do not have health insurance so I went to a clinic, I still had to pay I was put on antibiotics and it did get rid of my symptoms but the cysts seem to have stayed flared up. All the groin pain went away until a few days ago, I have a very mild pain and it does not really go away. One of the cysts is fairly large and the other you cannot see. I am just wondering if any of you are dealing with some type of chronic issue like this. I did have an ultrasound done, and was told by the urologist that they can be removed however they cannot guarantee that the pain will go away. Do you think pe would have any effect on them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man. I have an epididymal cyst as well. Have had it for a while. Since like age 12 or 13. Above left testicle. Just one. Doctor said it was benign and it doesn’t ever ache me (unless I put it between my fingers and apply pressure, of course) so I don’t disturb it. I am trying to lengthen my ball sac and get low hangers, and its definitely getting in the way of that, but I’m managing….

I used to have one on the underside of my penis, a bit below frenulum. It was very small but it bothered me aesthetically nonetheless so I got it removed. There was no pain before or after.

By the way, I don’t know was that exactly the same type of cyst as the one(s) that you have, but still, it was a cyst.

Edit: I did some reading and it’s definitely not the same type of cyst, but oh well. :)

I had a cyst on the epididymus of my right testicle. Went to the urologist and he said about the same thing to me about it being harmless. They prescribed me some pills and it went away in a few weeks. Haven’t heard back from it since. I’d be careful with the PE thing. If anything, see another urologist for a second opinion. I had to get three before I was calm again.

Wait these things can go away with pills? Seriously? Can you please tell me the name of the drug so I can do some research…?

I might have to call my urologist to find that out. It was about 3 years ago when I went through this. All I know is, I took the pills and also tried very hard not to worry about it. I will talk with my urologist or try to find out what it was that I took.

I would also like to know about the type of pills as well. Having no health insurance has really been a pain, I really need to go get a full on exam and have blood work done. I was having bladder issues which was one of my symptoms and Im only 27, come to find out I have scoliosis in my lower back which controls digestions etc etc. The urologist actually prescribed something that old women take …lol I cannot remember what it was but I refused to take it. The chiropractor actually fixed my frequent urinary problem, but I cant afford the cost for it to be truly effective.. again Im only 27 and I have a hard time shoveling my driveway or standing for long periods of time!! I am also into lifting/power lifting I weigh 160 lbs bench 295 and squat 340. I train really hard but make sure I am not doing exercises that strain my lower back, my core is very very strong.. I am very very lean, Im all diet with very very minimal cardio, do any of you think incorporating cardio would help. I really do not want to start bc I will have to alter my diet, but if it will help Ill do it. Sorry for ranting if there is any advice out there I will consider it.
