Epididymis loose?

I really need your opinion here before I’m talking to my parents about it (being only 18 in Israel means you need them for all health issues (but AIDS check)).
About 3-4 years ago I found something troubling in my nuts.
As if some part of them was loose, and it looked and feeled like a vein or something, though it was kinda looser then a vein and was right behind my nut.
It’s only in one of them.
Now it’s not that it was completly unconnected, just looser.
Now i was searching the forum a bit and foud a picture of the testical anatomy.
I belive the thing that is loose is the Epididymis.

Anyone encountered that? Do you know what I should do?

This is very easy to check out with a doctor.

How does it work in Israel? Do your parents have to go with you, or what?

Seems to me you could see your family doctor about this without having to let your parents know. The doctor, if he is a good guy, could write “nasal congestion” on whatever info goes back to them if they must receive a report. Doctors can be very human about privacy.

If you stretch your testicles down, does it stay loose? Can you feel the end of it?

I always thought the epididymus was very long so it would still feel loose back there. If some day you try to have kids and you can’t then I guess that would probably be the reason, but I wouldn’t worry about it.

If you do decide to see a doctor they will probably be able to give you a sperm count and let you know if you can still have kids.

Maybe one of the more knowledgeable members in the medical field can chime in?

And avo, my parents hold my Health Insurance… so even if I go without them they will see it in the bill in the end of the month.

Gee, I hope there will be no problam in having childern… but it’s only in one testical so I guess the other one should still do the trick.

If if were indeed loose, my guess is that you would be in a whole lot of discomfort. The epidymus, stretched out, extends almost 18 feet (incredible, huh?) and is pretty much “welded” (while coiled up) to each testicle. It would take a major trauma to dislodge it.

So they get a bill? It will say, “Office Visit, ElFunk, 3/31/05 - 1900 NIS” or whatever. Tell them you thought you might be pregnant; that suddenly one day you felt constipated. Tell them only that you feel good now, So pass the chicken, would you?

At 18 your testicular problems are no longer any of their business and they know that. I hope.

Getting that 1900 NIS is not that easy, though I’ll check it out.

I made up the 1900 NIS part. I don’t know what 1 NIS is worth in US$.

1$=4.3 NIS

And you had a very lucky guess, it should cost about this high, even more.
