Are these symptoms of Chlamydia?

Results came back. Negative. I pretty much expected that, but until the test was done there was always that nagging uncertainty. Nice to be sure I don’t have an STD (at least in the normal sense).

I asked if I could get an antibiotic prescription anyway since it seemed like I was being affected by something. Fuckers won’t prescribe shit without a diagnosis. They think I might have prostatitis. I could probably get a prescription for that, but first I’d have to get a prostate exam, and there’s no way I want a dude sticking his finger up my asshole again. Once was enough.

Four years ago I had that exam. Prescribed standard antibiotics. Azithromycin or some shit. Still had difficulty going, still felt like I had to go frequently, and still had burning. Then he prescribed ciprofloxacin. Made me feel horrible, so I looked it up. Turns out this fucker prescribed an antibiotic that should NEVER be used unless the danger of dying is greater than the danger from possible side effects. Dumped the remaining supply in the toilet.

I remember I got the prostatitis under control with supplements. Can’t remember which ones I took though, so that sucks. Also, in the back of my mind, I can’t help wondering if antibiotics played a role in helping me to overcome it the first time.

The ultimate question remains; why do I seem to have prostatitis again? What did I get from my partner that seems to have set it off? Thankfully this time it doesn’t seem to be that bad. Hoping it doesn’t get any worse.

Jamming your body with antibiotics is a bad plan anyway. It disrupts your microbiome for 6 months and even disrupts the people around you (we share so much). Useful if you’re very ill but not so much as a prophylactic .

Sometimes it’s about what you are taking into your body rather than adding extra stuff to correct for that. Try a carb free diet for your prostatitis. You should know fairly quickly if it helps.

Even removing caffeine, alchohol, and spicy foods has been shown to be helpful:

The symptoms have not gone away, but neither have they gotten any better or worse. They were mild enough that I wasn’t in any hurry to do something about it.

I had already been taking Quercetin, Zinc, Vitamin C, and Vitamin D3 for general health reasons. I also knew that these had a beneficial effect on sexual organs and the sex drive, however, it’s not enough.

I have now added Pumpkin seed oil and Pygeum, which are supposed to be very good for prostate health. I’ll see how things go.
