blister or herpes???

About a week ago I noticed a red dry area on the tip of my penis about 3millimeters in diameter. Since then it has gotten redder. There is no pain, but it looks a little bigger. It is round and flat. I am worried because I had unprotected sex with 2 girls in the last month (yes I know this was stupid of me, and I know I should get checked immediatly). I also have been doing some intense jelq and horse 440’s, so this might be the cause. Anyway, I am scared out of my mind and I’m going to wait and see if it goes away or opens up into a sore. Yes I did look through the blisters section under injuries, but I was wondering if you guys new of any good ointments or creams for this.

Also, I was wondering if anyone with herpes has experienced the same thing at first. I know I should go get tested, but I dont know if i can deal with the stress of it right now….any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Easiest thing for you to do is see your doctor. All you need to say is that you had unprotected sex a couple of times and are concerned about the discoloration you have.

ok i just went to the doctor and now i’m freakin out….she took a look and used a swab and said that she thinks it’s herpes because she doesnt know what else it could be. I did not say anything about PE. She said, though, that usually herpes is very painful….so i still have some hope. she gave me a prescription for Valtrex, and said results would come in a couple of days.

So now i’m totally depressed and freaking out. No offense to anyone with herpes, but i’m so pissed that I spent so much time being safe and I have sex twice unprotected and now i might have herpes. It is a lesson to be learned, but I hope I have another chance and dont have this virus. I guess I’m just asking for feedback….anything. I know i wont be able to sleep until I get the results and all i want to do is get back with my exgirlfriend right now.

ok you guys are not going to believe me. I swear to god this is true. Literally a minute after I wrote that last post my exgirlfriend called me from college and said she had gonarreah and that I need to take some pill. I know this has nothing to do with blisters, but I am just in total shock because I had sex with her like 2 months ago, and we used protection…and this was the last thing on my mind. Boy do i need a support group right now.

First of all, the incubation period of gonnorhea is much less than two months. Unless you have a urethral discharge, you are probably safe from that one but do call your doctor back and tell her what the g/f said if only to ease your mind.

You don’t know if you have herpes yet so relax on that front. Until you do know for sure, lay off the PE until the area heals and avoid sex. If you do come up positive, read all you can about herpes then have sex accordingly. That is something you wouldn’t want to pass around.

Avocet thanks for the responses. Ya I can’t believe today…I just went back to the doctor’s (it’s an on call place) and got tested for gonarreah and chlamida…Guys I hate to say it but this shit SUCKS. First of all it was a female student nurse who doesnt understand the sensitivity of the penis tip. She sticks this swab in the hole of my dick and starts twisting for like 4 seconds. My dick still feels confused by what happened…..but at least I’ll get results soon.

Since I was back there I asked for another doc to look at the blister, and he said it might not be herpes, but it isn’t unlikely. I guess it’s just 48 hours of patience, and I’ll get the news. Till then I’m just gonna sit back and stay away from my penis.

skinny, I know this post is over a month old, but have you been diagnosed? What happened? I get very mild breakouts only when I overdo L-Arginine or each way too many peanuts and peanut butter, so I have to take L-Lysine to counter it. I’ve had 2 mild breakouts in the past 5 years, but mine itches a tad, but doesn’t hurt and looks nothing like those nasty pix on the site posted above. It looks more like a mild skin rash, mostly on my sack and once around my circ scar under the glans. It never has appeared as sores or lesions, just tiny blister looking things like when you get a mild rash from poison ivy.
