OK, I know guys personally who have bought the stuff from pharmacies in India and Pakistan. I live in the Uk and plenty of people here go to pharmacies in India and Pakistan when they see relatives out here and buy it from there - no question of them being made outside of India/Pakistan at all. You can also check the product against pictures of the real stuff but ultimately no-one is gonna fake something which only costs about $1-2 per ampoule anyway.Otoh, much more likely an Indian company will fake cabergoline (very expensive drug to make as are all drugs in its class) as there will be considerable profit in it. Plus ultimately would I trust a country as corrupt, bureaucratic and full of bribery as India/Pakistan (what my Indian and Pakistani friends say btw) to make genuine products? No way. Plus I don’t trust their health and safety in general. A country where lax checks allowed the Bhopal disaster, massive loss of life every year on its railways and roads, poor hygiene in general, unclean water, millions living in unsanitary conditions, lol, I could go on, but a country like that I would rather not by neurological drugs from. I would like to see you dispute any of the facts presented there because they are pretty well established especially corruption and bribery and cutting corners when it comes to healthcare to lower costs (as what happened in the pepsi/coke story and bhopal disaster).
Bottom line - like in china also one of the reason these countries can get away with producing many goods cheap is shitty production values, poor health and safety standards etc.
I say we start a new thread to debate this.
