Can You Guys believe this Drug?!?

I have trouble believing that, zane. If you are the partner in sex, with anybody, my guess is that you want very much to be considered as prime - somewhere in that sexual equation, even it it’s momentary.

Apomorphine has been shown to be an effective treatment for ED by working as a dopamine agonist. It is a Parkinsons drug.
I am still trying to figure out how its action compares to that of cabergoline. Any comments on this?
Zane, look into this drug.

Quote
Apomorphine has been filed with the US Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. However, unlike sildenafil (Viagra), apomorphine exerts its pro-sexual effect not upon the erectile organ but upon the brain. Apomorphine provokes erections not by messing with the plumbing of male sexual function (speak: blood supply to the penis), but interferes with the wiring necessary for arousal, pleasure, and climax.

That Viagra only effects the plumbing, puts clear limits to its potential as a lifestyle drug. Viagra will do little for men whose plumbing doesn’t leak.

On the other hand, a good shot of additional desire would be a welcome life enhancement for many people with whom there is nothing wrong physically but who just feel bored with their everyday life. For them, apomorphine could be a real enrichment, and even a medication that saves their marriages.

I added the bold to the text. The point being that when compared to viagra, dopamine agonists not only improve the physical response of the penis, but the emotional desire in the brain.

That’s the kind of stuff I’m looking for. Something that re-activates the brain into thinking sexual again.

Although approved, principally in the form of Uprima, this drug has been found in user experience to have undependable results as compared with the three usually prescribed drugs - Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis.

Apomorphine is going through clinical trials as a female sexual dysfunction drug. The problem with these drugs is that they can cause vomiting and fainting; dosage is tricky. Also the body gets used to them, requiring larger doses, which scares the bejeesus out of me.

The unpredictability as compared to hard-on drugs is that the hard-on drugs make it easier to get an erection even if you aren’t very turned on. Helpful when there are relationship issues. I think high dopamine would be more likely to increase the desire for porn or adultery. It makes you want what you want more.

Avocet, I’m forty and hardened and very, very practical.

I think it's the woman's job to tighten up to fit her man--it's lots easier for us.

My only side effect so far to the Cabergoline are stomach aches which the day of taking it is annoying enough for me to seriously think about quitting. It’s like a low grade nausea feeling

Zane,

Men can disconnect feelings from virtually everything, not just sex. It is what’s required in order to survive we were designed (intelligently or by nature) to be able to disconnect our feelings.
How could we kill an animal and eat it if we couldn’t ignore sorrowful feelings of taking a life?
How could we fire half the workforce a few days before Christmas in order to save a business if we were worried about where Tiny Tim’s next meal was coming from?

The difference’s between men and women complement eachother. Take comfort in that.
But with sex and relationships, I think you’ve been very unlucky and have formed relationships with the poorer examples of men.
Look around and you will find men who are caring, compassionate and for whom sex is completely entwined with feelings. However usually these men are spoken for, especially if they are good looking and/or rich etc… precisely because of the reasons you’ve displayed. Women recognise and appreciate this in men and will try to hang onto a such a man particularly if he’s also rich and good looking.

Yes Formula! This might be just what you need! ALthough it is still frustrating to not not know the root cause of your problem, if this drug could help, then wouldn’t that be nice?

Dang it, King! Now you’ve gone and brought Tiny Tim into this ?!?

Go ahead, give away the farm…sheesh!

"Debate the idea..."

I find keeping carbs up helps alot with side effects.

Also, you can’t keep jacking dosages up because this stuff accumulates over time…

what are the side effects ?

We shall soon find out because mine is on it’s way right now. So keep your fingers crossed. I was my regular 30 second one shot wonder Saturday night and it’s getting pretty damn old.

Uprima I tried some years back after subscribing to apomorphine.org. I was really looking forward to it, but it didn’t do anything at all for me.

I’m curious about the initial sides of cabergoline. Has anyone who’s using it also used Bromocriptine? and if so, would you describe the sides as similar (a kind of weakness like when you have low blood sugar, mild headaches etc?). If they’re similar then that doesn’t concern me at all, as (with Bromo) I found that it was just about ramping up the dosage slowly enough over a couple of weeks to the target level. Having quit Bromo cold turkey for several months, I found I could jump back in pretty much where I left off, or a little lower, which made it much easier to use in the long haul. My biggest concern would be the effect in terms of energy in the gym. I’m not training at the moment, but hope to join up soon now that I’ve relocated, and those shaky cold sweats and weakness are something I would like to avoid.

Shiver

So far the side for me as been a stomach ache no change in energy level and I have had a mild headache which I thought was just stress related. I may stop very soon.

I ordered Cabergoline from Elite Pharmacy in the U.K., as other members have. The tablets are 4mg each. Remembering that another member had taken a larger than normal “loading dose” to start with, I took about half a tablet on Friday 7/14. On Sunday I was suffering from some pretty bad nausea and abdominal pain. On Monday I had terrible diarrhea, which has continued into today (Tuesday). I am taking Immodium to combat this, and have no other side effects other than some fatigue and a bit of dizziness. Have any other members had an experience similar to this with Cabergoline? I’m sure a lot of it has to do with the size of the dose I took. I’m just hoping this goes away soon.
