Diagnosed With Urethro-Prostatitis

For the last three days I’ve had high fevers of 104º. Today, I felt some discomfort when peeing, so decided to take a urine sample and send it to the lab. While pissing in the little plastic bottle, I was shocked#:-o when two large blood clots came out of my meatus. My wife -who was with me when taking the sample- almost fainted, I played tough guy and told her not to worry, that it was nothing. Since that moment I have been pissing clots.

The Urologist prescribed Maxaquin (Lomefloxaxine) a quinolone similar to Ciprofloxaxine, but newer and supposedly more potent; also 2 shots of Gentamicine 160 mg.

This infection is NOT PE related, but the consequence of excesive sex.:cancer: Nobody’s perfect.:) However, it will keep me off PE for a while, :cry: :cuss: don’t know exacly how much, but have to be extremely careful.

Ten years ago, I had a similar infection, but never in my life have I seen blood in my urine, it’s a scary thing.

How can you be so sure that they’re not PE related?

A guy on another PE site had torn one of his vas defrens while using his PM and had similar symptoms; blood in the urine and passing clots.

I’m absolutely sure it is not PE related because I had incurred in some excesses during sex. The most important reason, though, is that I got Flebitis (not exactly Trombosed vein, but similar) in a large vein on the side of my dick, that has prevented me from PE for almost 5 weeks, now; actually, I was planning to start my PE today. :cry: :cuss: That injury is NOT PE related either, but the product of rough sex.

Why so much “rough sex”? I believe the reason is I was prescribed with antidepressants that delay my orgasms, so the monkey needs more work.

In the last hour, I have peed twice with no blood clots, although the urine looks VERY pink.

I want -if possible- any feedback from other members that have had this condition. I remember Avocet suffered this once, but I don’t know whether he had this scary bleeding shit.#:-o

I had two types.

I am highly susceptible to trichomonas which are a fairly common flora in the vagina; result, trichomona urethroprostatitis . No urethral bleeding at all, no fever, but a very gross, green urethral discharge, urethral itching, severe pain on ejaculation, and discomfort while urinating. The standard treatment for that is Flagyl, an unpleasant drug which alters your sense of taste and turns your feces vivid purple. Fortunately, only a small percentage of men are at all senstive to trich; something like 2 percent I was told at the time. They travel down the urethra and set up camp in the prostate. It’s enough to swear you off sex but you only feel that way for a few days. :)

The other was standard bacterial prostatitis, in my case caused by two strains of E coli. High fever, pelvic pain, painful urination, but no pain on ejaculation for me and no blood in urine. That went on (off and on) for 5 years until a very clever urologist was able to track the problem down, put me on a treatment regimen. I’ve been prostatitis free for 27 mos. (I count ‘em.) The usual treatment for this is Cipro, but there are other antibiotics that may work. The prostate is resistant to most antibiotics because it is such a highly convoluted organ with many nooks and crannies.

During the 5 years I had bacterial prostatitis I did a lot of reading about it; there are many theories, one of which is that men who tend to be sensitive to trichomonas may also be more susceptible to bacterial prostatitis. That has not been proven so far as I know, but it’s still a viable theory to me.

When I was 13, I pissed blood, It scared the shit out of me! So much, I accually cried a little, and I thought it was God punishing me because I masturbated. LOL!

I never told anybody about it, it only happened once and I still have no idea why.
