I’m starting to worry this might be something that’s affecting me.
After the missus being away for just under a month we were obviously very “keen”, had no problem at 1st but started to gradually loose my erection and couldn’t regain it.
She did quite hurt me pulling back on my skin very hard which caused some soreness for a few days and seemed to stretch my foreskin leaving the glands exposed, probably where the soreness came in!
That certainly didn’t help and because of the soreness I didn’t/ couldn’t get it in but I don’t think that is the only issue.
I’ve noticed over probably the last year or so now my quality wasn’t as good, I’d originally put this down to no longer really doing any PE exercises (although very active so fitness shouldn’t be an issue).
Not to the point it caused any real concern or problem but I’m wondering more now..
The big thing that’s I’m looking into now is diabetes, I’ve suffered for about 18 years now and since hitting puberty my control has been less than ideall, not through lack of trying I just have a very varied lifestyle so it’s always been hard to build a routine with my diabetes, one day I’ll be hypo at 10am then next hyper at 10 am with the same insulin or using the same ratios etc.
I guess probably my main question is how long would it take for ED to be reversed by improved control, does it relate to your current sugar or your long term sugar?
For instance if I was at 7 when I went to bed would that have a knock on effect even if my hba1c was say 11 or would both have to be sat at around 7 (the average recommended value)?
Also what if anything can I do other than improve control, I know PE exercises can be beneficial.
I don’t really want to venture into rings, pills etc. Is there anything I can do myself.?
