Hard ridge on top of penis just below the head what is it called?

I’ve actually been wondering this for awhile, I have this semi hard ridge on the top side of the shaft of my penis just below the head, does anyone else have this and what is it called? I’m uncircumcised BTW so maybe you guys who are also might notice it, when I pull my foreskin back I can’t feel this ridge anymore. Thanks.

I personally have no idea what you’re talking about… could you perhaps describe it a little better?

If this “ridge” you speak of extends to the base of your penis then you are talking about a vein… everybody has this vein and it is completely normal.

OK, a total guess here. You said it disappears when you pull the foreskin back. This means it is something in the foreskin? Can you feel anything within that skin? If you have any unusual lumps or bumps, I would say have a doctor check it out.
