How to tell how healthy your prostate is?

How can you tell whether your prostate is good shape or not if you don’t find any pea-sized lump on your balls?

I’m sure that one of our esteemed doctors will chime in here as well, but one way to gauge the prostates’ health is by the stream when you urinate. If you piss like a race horse, chances are you are fine, if on the other hand it dribbles out and you pee on your shoe, you might want to get it checked.

Pea sized lumps on your balls don’t normally relate to prostate health. (But be glad you don’t have any pea sized lumps.)

sunny is correct regarding a good-flow pee stream.

Also, if you have no aches or pains generally in your groin area, the area between your testicles and your anus, or thighs or lower back, that is good. And no pain on ejaculation. And generally your ejaculate is not discolored, unusually lumpy. And you don’t have to get up repeatedly during the night to pee (no problem, though, if you have consumed large amounts of liquids prior to going to bed.)

These are just general things to watch for.

How lumpy should you cum be if you have prostate problem?

Lumpy ejaculate doesn’t mean that you have a prostate problem. Some guys normally produce lumpy or ropey ejaculate, others more watery. And this can change for you depending on the length of time between ejaculations - less time, more watery usually - diet, and the degree to which your body is hydrated.

In the case of a bout of prostatitis, ejaculate can become very thick, discolored (brownish from blood seepage because of inflammation), and with a very bad odor. But if you got to this point, you’d probably know you had prostatitis from other symptoms.
