Remember that some views are puritan in nature and can be the result of religious beliefs and ultra conservative upbringing. For example Orthodox Jews must place a sheet with a hole in it between their bodies in order to do the deed—their bodies must not touch in any manner except what is necessary in order for the woman to become pregnant. We procreate in order to insure the survival of the species—it is the natural order of things—you cannot suppress it without some consequences to overcome. I say if it feels good and is not harmful to your partner—then DO IT!!! :p

I’m not absolving the church of it’s culpability in these horrors. They fucked up BAD by trying to sweep it under the rug. But when you look at it with an honest eye you can begin to appreciate what the church already knew: In the right/wrong hands these scandals are a very powerful weapon. Yes, they should have had these “priests” locked up forever and they failed countless innocent children when they didn’t. But let’s not promote the fallacy that the church and it’s traditions raped those kids. Scumbag child molester fuck-heads raped those kids.
