Low T Study

But my blood work always shows my free test levels in the lower borderline area, and still they just say maybe it’s just the way it’s supposed to be. What really frustrates me is the fact that they did not measure my levels before they did the operation so there is nothing to compare with.

In the lower borderline, this still means in the normality range I suppose. TRT replacement is tough choice, one has to be on exogenous T for the life; it could harm the remaining testicle, so could be a never back road. I doubt your sleep issues have much to do with T, never heard of that. Not that I’m an expert of this field, though.

Hey Viking,

I didn’t catch any numbers other than Free-T. Do you know what kind of Total-T and Estrogen levels you have? Maybe an aromatise inhibitor would do you more good by making available more of the testosterone you already have. You definitely need a full lab workup if you haven’t had one, including your estrogen levels.

By the way, if I could put on muscle and not have to deal with shaving, I’d be thrilled…. :-)

He asked if you suffered of insomnia?

Yeah, gonna get a new Doc. Takes some time with the paperwork though and will have a list of my own with me. I’m actually hoping something like nolva or arimidex might be the solution becausee I don’t think they will put me on TRT and it’s something I can wait with until I’m older and maybe even had kids, don’t know if I actually want that though.

Just need some better sleep and have tried the natural ways for over a year now.

And no, believe me you would not be thrilled. I feel it’s my birth right as a man and I do have to shave it’s just not a very full growth and not covering very much looks kinda pathetic when I try to grow a beard. My dad shaved since the age of 14 and my youngest brother have way more beard growth than me, we are six years apart so it’s obvious something went wrong. Maybe the fact that I started AD’s at the age of 19 has something to do with it, dunno.

It would be a chance I’d be willing to take and they have HCG to prevent it from shutting down and it survived both my steroid cycles which I was on in the age span from 24- 26 and I used a steroid called Trenbolone and this steroid was what gave me the little beard growth I actually have today, before the cycle I had none almost.

Trenbolone is 5 times more potent than testosterone and can shut down your own production permanent but I managed fine from it.

And I can’t stand the fact that they look at my body and tells me, “no”, with no further look at the test results, it’s unprofessional in my eyes, totally and goes to show how little even the endos in this country have come in this field. Damn shame.

Viking , I know you heard this before but do a complete hormonal panel that includes , fsh , lh , free test , total test , prolactin , estradiol , tsh . If you just not getting enough sleep it could be something else it don’t have to be low test .

Hcg is ok but only if your LH is below normal and your testosterone is below normal but if your LH is high and testosterone is low hcg won’t do a thing .

Thanks brother, will keep that in mind and have a list with me. Will be more assertive at my next appointment.

(It’s just a weird situation really, people think I have been juicing for years even cops and Docs have asked me straight out in my early twenties if I did, but it’s God’s honest truth I have only taken 2 cycles in my mid twenties. Even rehabbing they suspected me of juicing and did extended tests on me but when I asked to see the results they never let me, same answer as always your test levels are fine.)

Just a tip : you can measure your T levels at home. Here an example:

About 5 years ago. My T levels were low before the cycle.

Those test kits seemed interesting. From what I could read it is by saliva they do the tests or am I wrong?

Just now changed Doc’s as I have moved very recently, will not be able to order an appointment until December month( paper work). Was a foreign Doc available as I have only bad experiences with native ones, a long shot I know but the future will tell. Will post my results here if the thread is still up and going then or make a new one because I really want feedback from people who are already on HRT/ TRT.

Will also ask Renholder for some tips when the time comes as we live in the same country and he actually managed to get somewhere. Might be nothing but it’s bugging my head thinking about this.

And thanks to everyone responding, really helps just airing my thoughts sometimes.
