Men's Health Magazine on Size.
In the November 2003 issue of Men’s Health magazine, a few statistics on size were stated. This will be old news to most all of you, but I found it interesting to compare to what we already know. It may make some of us smaller and average guys feel better and remind us that were up against the whole population. We are just working together with the big guys here, not competing!
Fun With Numbers
measure your penis
The best way to guage your penis size is to measure yourself as a urologist would.
Flaccid length: Measure immediately after undressing, since a cold or warm room can cause shrinkage or expansion. Do it while standing, and use a flexible ruler. Position the tip of the ruler gently against the point where the shaft meets your abdomen. Then bend the ruler along the shaft and read the length. Average: 3.43 inches
Erect length: Immediately after you become fully hard, measure along the top of your erection from the base of the shaft to the tip. Average: 5.03 inches
Girth: While still erect, wrap a cloth tape measure around your penis at its base. Average: 5.14 inches around; 1.67” in diameter
Erection angle: Stand with your back against a wall and estimate your angle. A o-degree erection (an oxymoron if we’ve ever heard one) would point at your feet; 90 degrees would point out in front; and 180 degrees would aim in your chin. Average: 105.7 degrees MH
Well, we can see some lack of information in here. Specifically they do not state if that average erect length is non bone pressed. From the size of that “average” given and their descriptions on how to measure. It is a non bone pressed measurement. Also, all of us here will probably agree that it would be more important to measure your erect girth midshaft (as we are taught here thankfully). This is more applical as to measuring the girth that is used in penetration.
I just thought that that I’d share this mainstream info that was published with you guys. Men’s Health magazine has hundreds of thousands of subscribers. It was worth reading.
