Pain after orgasm - unrelated to PE

I wanted to post this in Mens’ Sexual Health Forum, but I don’t have enough posts so I have to ask here..

First of all, it’s not PE related because I’ve been experiencing it before I started PE.
After having an orgasm everything is fine, but sometimes I experience (more often than not) pain in my penis, mostly the upper part and glans, while trying to achieve another erection.
Pain is sometimes mild and just a discomfort, but sometimes it’s sharp and very unpleasant.
If I try to kegel blood into my penis it really hurts so I have to be careful and do weak kegels to gradually let the blood in, that way it hurts less and I can let the blood in.
Just to note, I don’t HAVE to do kegels to achieve an erection, I have no problems with that, this is the scenario IF I try to do kegels at that time.
Anyway, once it’s up, I don’t have problem with having sex another time and nothing hurts, but after another orgasm, the pain returns.
It usually lasts up to an hour after orgasm, but sometimes it wears off faster.
Oh, and even when it’s flaccid, I feel the pain while shaking it after urinating.
I’ve read that it has something to do with damaged nerves, but that’s just a speculation. I don’t know where could I damage it anyway.
I’m also concerned if this could be effected by PE, in a bad way. I hope PE could “fix” the problem, but I can only hope for now.
This wouldn’t really bother me if I had sex once a night or with bigger pause (like 5-6 hours), but I usually do it 2-3 times, rarely even 4 in a 5-6 hour span so it does bother me.

Any help is highly appreciated.

I don’t know the solution but I know the feeling. Sometimes it lasts up to 8 hours for me, and sometimes it isn’t present at all. If I ejaculate I always have to wait at least 5 hours before I can do any PE without soreness and discomfort. But if I have sex, and then she wants to go again it is only sore until we get going, then the pain is gone until the act is done.

I always just assumed it was a normal thing.

I don’t think it’s normal because.. I don’t know, I can’t imagine pain like that being normal.

Once I came across a discussion about that problem on some forum and a lot of people said they experienced the same thing, but no one really had the answer why it happens and how to cure/prevent it. Not even the doctors/urologists.

I wouldn’t call it a pain, it’s more like a severe soreness, or a hypersensitivity type of thing.

I often feel a mild to moderate aching soreness when erect or PEing for some time (hour or hours) after ejaculating. The duration and intensity varies. I suspect it is caused by the normal post-ejaculatory spike of prolactin.

While soreness isn’t addressed, here is an oddball who doesn’t experience a prolactin bump: http://www.natu re.com/ijir/jou … l/3900823a.html

Sometimes I am able to ejaculate after having sex and stay rock hard. Then continue having sex and ejaculate again, but it is a rare occurrence.

I can usually stay hard if I want, but firing another round soon after is out of the question.

Prolactin, hm? What does it do, exactly?

I don’t know, maybe it has something to do with my horniness? And trust me, I’m quite a horny individual. :D
There were occasions where I was so horny that I was getting an erection from only kissing and feeling my girlfriend’s wetness with fingers even after 4th sex (and 4th orgasm) in a time span of around 6-7 hours.
I guess the world is all about balance.. You can’t be that potent without some kind of a side-effect, hehe. :D

I too have a very similar feeling after masturbating. I can feel it a little when I pee, and it also feels sore in the morning. The only thing that would make it worse, or bring it back, is when I masturbated again. I have looked around and have found little information regarded the symptoms, so now I am on a break from masturbating hoping that it permanently goes away. I have took a little break before and after about the third time masturbating in three consecutive days the pain/discomfort came back. Mine seems like more of an injury then yours, but these are some of the closest symptoms I have heard yet.

An aching, sore feeling when erect or PEing shortly after ejaculating is normal, at least from my experience. The intensity and length of time the soreness lasts probably varies.

Prolactin and/or other post ejaculatory hormonal changes are almost certainly the cause. I only get the soreness after ejaculating.

Back when I had an extremely horny girlfriend and was screwing many times a day with rarely a break, I got quite sore at times. And that was without any PE or masturbation adding to the mix.

Then00bn00b may have something else going on. If the pain is localized that’s different from what I experience.

Then, how old are you, and what exactly are you doing to your penis sexually and PE-wise?

I’m 19. I’ve done my first proper PE session yesterday after a 7 day break, before that I did 3 PE sessions that were a bit too much (repetition-wise) for a newbie, but nothing serious happened, I just took a break to be safe.
Yesterday I did 5 minutes of manual stretching (up, down, left, right, out), 50 dry jelqs and warm up/down.

I used to masturbate 5-7 times a week, it was just regular masturbation, sometimes it took 2 minutes, sometimes it took 15 minutes. Not too fast, not too slow, regular grip, etc.
After I started having sex with my girlfriend, I reduced masturbation to 2-3 times a week.
We have sex 2-3 times a day, usually 4 days a week. It’s nothing that could cause damage, sometimes we’re in the mood for slow and relaxed sex, but more often it’s fast and intensive.
Still, I doubt that could cause the problem. Just regular sex, it’s not like I’m having my girlfriend step on my penis with stiletto heels or some other sick S&M practice.

When I was kegeling (around 60 to 120 consecutive contraction-release reps per day) and practiced edging, the usual soreness and sensitivity of my glans was completely absent after orgasm. Regaining an erection afterwards was easier for me, too. I might want to start this sort of training over.

Et... la nuit se continue. C\'est vrai. Elle est complètement dechirée - ma tête.

I don’t think it has anything to do with kegels.

I’ve been doing them for almost a year and the “only” results are harder erection, longer shooting range and more endurance in sex. :)

Quite possible. I only mention it because I was practicing them in combination with edging so I cannot really be sure whether it’s been the package or one of both measures that were responsible.

Hello everyone, I came back to Thunder’s Place so I’m resurrecting this thread after nearly a year of abstinence.
I didn’t do any PE in the meantime, I quit after a week or two, I just started again two days ago and this time I plan to keep on doing it.
The thing is, problem from my original post is still bothering me, it hasn’t gotten any better or worse. However, I’m afraid PEing (which so far gives me positive PIs) could worsen it.

To add a little background about myself, I live a healthy life, eat healthy food, drink lots of water, train in the gym 4 times a week, I’m lean/muscular, I have sex 4-5 times a week in a steady relationship, I masturbate 3-4 times a week (nothing too intensive, I also plan to further reduce this, before having a girlfriend it used to be 5-9 times a week), regularly do kegels 5-10 minutes a day (they helped me a lot with lasting longer in bed and also having stronger erections and ejaculations). Only thing that needs fixing is my sleep, not because it’s low quality, but because I often stay up too late, but I don’t think that has anything to do with the problem.

The problem is still just like in the original post, sometimes it hurts more, sometimes it hurts less, sometimes it doesn’t hurt at all, sometimes it lasts only for 15-30 minutes, sometimes for 1-3 hours.
There’s the thing I noticed, though. If I try to get an erection not much after an orgasm and start the feeling pain, it helps to pull foreskin over my glans and lightly stretch out my penis so it doesn’t have to get up all by itself.
Just to clarify, I don’t have problem with getting an erection, once it’s up, it’s very hard and doesn’t come down unless there’s lack of stimulation so that eliminates the possibility of venous leakage or something like that.

So, do you guys have anything helpful to add?
