PE and Vasectomy

Hi. Anyone have any experience or counsel on how long I’d have to lay off of PEing if I got a vasectomy?

I’m probably going to get the “no scapel” version, where they make very small incisions that don’t require stiches.

Thanks.

I had one about 7 years ago. Is no big deal at all.
The hardest part was how to make conversation with the girl as she shaved my balls, proved to be awkward, but funny.

I’d have to suggest a minimum 2 weeks hiatus on anything like PE, and sport stuff also.
Then take it slow for a bit, watch for swelling.

I tried to go back to the aikido dojo after a week. Was not wise.

Postatem obscuri lateris nescitis.

ike,
I had one back in January. It was using a single incision, no scalpel, technique.

You probably should take a couple of weeks off from PE just to leave everything alone down there while it heals.

Nice techique. There’s no obvious scar. I can barely see where I was cut.

My vasectomy is scheduled for September.

Mine will be either single or double incision depending on the Dr. performing the
operation. 3 use single incision; 1 uses double incision (HMO special) :)

Should I stop exercises a few weeks in advance? Did you MDC?

I lucked out with the HMO wheel! :D I couldn’t be happier with the doctor’s technique. They require a “class” be attended prior to the surgery and they didn’t even mention this technique.

I would suggest taking some time off beforehand. You wouldn’t want to go in there bruised or anything.

Thanks everyone for the replies. It won’t be easy to take a PE hiatus, but I guess it’s worth it if it means preventing another pregnancy and two or three more years of inadequate sleep.

ike,
Good luck with it. The doctor who did my procedure looked a little like your icon picture :)

The only pain I had was when they cut the firs vas, so you might ask that they put a little extra anesthesia just before cutting it(it didn’t feel much different than being kicked there). With the second one, I didn’t feel a thing.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

This may be a stupid question, but a vasectomy is not reversible, is it?

Do they cut the cords or band them now?

Vasectomies can be reversable. They remove a section of the chord or whatever its called . Been awhile since I took the class.

—————————————————— this is the chord

——————— ———————- this is what it looks like after the snip. They coterize the ends. We were told on rare instances it can grow back together on its own.

Vasectomy reversal is not very effective. Reversal success rate is under 50%. Before you consent to it, you are told to consider it permanent.

They remove a section of the vas deferens, and tie off or put a clip on both severed ends. The body eventually slows the production of sperm since they have nowhere to go.

Also be advised that you still will have LIVE sperm for up to 3 weeks after your vasectomy. So ask your lady to help you clear it out. :)

And, get tested for live sperm at least every 3 years. I know two guys that got thier wives pregnant years after thier vasectomy. It can happen. The body will always try to repair itself non stop till you die.

They told me that I would probably have sperm for up to 20 ejaculations. I told my wife that she could still get pregnant, and she was willing to try.

I masturbated a lot!
;)

I considered having my vasectomy reversed. What I gleaned from doing the research is that early reversal attempts are very successful. But as time goes on the sucess rate declines at about 6% per year. At 8 years post op only it would have been only a 50% sucess rate. So I opted to forget about it.

Check it out guys, no need to have a big dick if you ain't gonna use it!!

Luv, want more children, or some other reason to consider the reversal?
