Any of you pumpers had a Vasectomy?

I am getting withdrawal symptoms from not being able to pump, I had a Vasectomy 3 days ago.

I am a bit sore and bruised and I had thought I might try a short set at very low vacuum in a week or 10 days time but I think my incisions are going to be right where the thickwall cylinder digs in.

The incisions are higher and at the front of the scrotum, I expected them lower and to the sides. The right incision is very high as my right testicle is always higher.

I also wonder if I’ll get pain where the Vas was cut when I pump.

Anyone have experience with pumping after a Vasectomy?

I had a vasectomy in 2001. I waited a few weeks before resuming my routine and had no ill effects.
As long as you give yourself time to heal I would think you should have no problems.

Can I ask where your incisions were?
Like I said mine are higher and more to the front than I expected and the cylinder will press right on the incisions.

Also do you know what material the cut Vas ends are tied with?
I think mine were cauterised also.

It was difficult to get any information as the nurses did not know any details and the Drs went home soon after my surgery.

My incisions were in the same locations as I carry my boys close to home also. That’s why I would recommend a couple of weeks off.

My tubes were plugged and cauterized.
