LOL!! I turn 42 next week and I’ve got one white hair sticking out of the middle of my chest. I’m sure that’s the first of many to follow. Too bad I can’t get hair to grow on my head but it grows every other place I don’t want it to.

Ha. With me at 47 the hair is turning white on my chin, sternum, and the small of my back. Like a gorilla. And a few on my temples.

Our French friend doesn’t know how lucky he is.

Rogaine may work. Try googling it. I once came across a discussion group about how to use rogaine to grow facial hair.

Ow.

Wasn’t minoxidil originally a blood pressure medicine, which had the side effect of making patients grow unwanted hair in clinical trials?

Chest hair, no chest hair. Some chicks like it and some don’t! I doubt it’s a deal breaker for women so I wouldn’t worry about it. My opinion is that I doubt a vast majority of women greatly prefer a man with a hairless chest. Have you ever heard about someone getting dumped over chest hair?

I believe twat has spoken about using these hair growth inducing agents - rogain et al - on his beard to give it more fullness. I suppose the same rules would apply on the chest.

I will try to get some products as Spanky and Churchy suggest it. I would like and fieel to see what is like to be hairy.

You can use rogaine to attempt to grow chest hair. But it can be dangerous depending on your health and genetics, as when you use rogaine (Minoxidil) on areas other than the scalp you risk systemic absorption and consequencly lower and lower blood pressure depending on your body’s reaction. One more thing, minoxidil will generally only stimulate hair follicles that are pre-dispositioned to grow thick. If generally your male family members and relatives aren’t very hairy, your chances with rogain will be slim. If they do have hairy chests, minoxidil will speed up a process that would normally take years to fully take effect.

For a more in depth discussion on alternative uses of rogaine you can check out the link at the bottom of this post. It’s on a beard enthusiasts forum (beardboard). It’s a 122 page thread on users experimenting with rogaine on their face and other body parts. After reading the most of the thread I tried it myself, and even though I got a bit lazy and stopped after a few months (the process can take a year or more), my facial hair has filled out alot more.

it works by vasodilation. improves circulation to capillaries like in the head where blood perfusion is minimal especially to the hair follicles. if you don’t have much hair follicles to begin with, minoxidil would be useless.

My girlfriend used to be one of those women who disliked chest hair. Since we’ve been together, she sometimes comments on how surprised she is about how much she likes my chest hair. She likes to lay her head on it, rub her cheeks gently across my chest/stomach, and slowly pulls the hair up with her lips.

I am glad to have a hairy chest/stomach(I’m not like George the animal Steele or Mr. Happy’s ‘idol’? -> Robin Williams). That means I can let it be with a woman who likes hair, or I can remove it with a woman who likes smoothness. Best to be hairy to begin with. My opinion. :p

Hey fredmarc, you seem to be shift-key challenged from time to time.

You mind fixing that for us?
