Please read - Condoms AHHHH

In my younger (re: unmarried) days I would kegel and masturbate to PONR a lot to develop control. I was able to get to the point of keeping an erection going for hours while not ejaculating. I was able to understand my body and understand when I was ready to cum. I got married and found condoms to be a real pain. My wife was on the pill, but then went off of it because of complications. We have practiced ‘natural methods’ for over 15 years now. We have not had any problems. Surprisingly, the pill is only ~ 90% effective. Both my wife and daughter have gotten pregnant when on the pill. My advice - if you are not worried about STDs and have very good control, go natural. If you have any concerns otherwise, use a condom. But then again, I am not a doctor either …

Hey bigsilo, do you have a statistic on the pill being only 90% effective? Did your wife and daughter use it perfectly (taken plus or minus one hour every day)? Also, is it possible the birth control they had wasn’t a high enough dose?

I think what bigsilo is referring to is that the range of effectiveness for the pill is about 92-97% for ‘perfect use.” Then for “actual use,” which assumes you may time your pills incorrectly (allowing the woman to ovulate, which the pill is supposed to halt) or take another medication (like antibiotics and some pain medicine), the effectiveness is dropped into almost “worthless” territory.

The bottom line is: If your partner getting pregnant is a huge deal, you should be using at least two forms of birth control.

I was in a 5star hotel in asia where the minibar had a pack of condoms. To my shock and disappointment they were tiny!! Putting one one was a crushing experience that made staying hard impossible. I’m not huge but these things would have been better applied to a pencil!

Just a side note.. Carry on.

Like the saying goes, if you want to dance, you have to pay the fiddler. My wife and I have been been comfortable with the decision to practice ‘Vatican roulette’. I trust my control, we watch her ovulation, etc. If you have any apprehension, additional protection as grower2shower discusses is warranted. No matter how much we think we are in control, variability will sneak in the shake things up.

This Study has just claimed that the ‘pull out’ method is statistically about as effective as using condoms. I’ve been pulling out with my girlfriend for a good 5 months now.. Zero babies so far.

Obviously - this does increase your risk of STD’s etc., but if you’re in a clean monogamous relationship it can be much more appetising.

Low-Probability Bad Ideas
Low-Probability Bad Ideas (Correction)

Condoms are evil and I think they are part of a plot created by feminist women to take all the joy away from men.

After 7 months ask her to use alternate method of birth control and offer to be tested for STDs before you go bare back.

If you must use a condom I have found that Sagami 0.02 large size provides the least impairment of enjoyment. I agree I say hard and recover faster when I am bareback.

I like the spontaneity of going bareback. Because I have to pull out, I miss cumming inside and having that feeling of finishing something great. The other problem is that you only get ‘one shot’. If you are still hard after cumming and want to keep going, then you are at increased risk for getting her pregnant even if you pull out.

I really hate condoms, so I prefer Vatican roulette. Maybe I should look at a vasectomy and never have to worry about this again …

At 6” girth, I hate using condoms. Prior to meeting my wife, I found Trojan Supra to be the best in terms of comfort and sensitivity. They are polyurethane, not latex. That said, they were still painfully tight, even with lube inside the condom. After a long session, I would often have a crater 1/4” deep from the condom near the end of my cock.

I practiced the withdrawal method for many years with my first wife and never had a pregnancy. Our two children were planned. In my opinion, withdrawal is a very effective method of birth control if you have self control.

I agree that without a condom you can squirt small amounts of jizz (without finishing) that make sex really heat up. It’s the best lube for me to rub my wife with during intercourse. It’s not a reason to skip condoms, though. It’s a reason to pursue monogamy.

If I was dating today I’d be using a condom even for oral, at least until I trusted someone’s monogamy for 6 months, followed by tests for cooties.

For kicks one time we used a sheet of Saran Wrap between my tongue and my wife’s goodies. She loved it (with some lube). So I’d probably be travelling with dental dams (or just slice up a condom) and even shear rubber gloves if I was dating.

Now for the contraceptive angle, they say the rhythm method is unreliable, but what if you added like 3 days onto either side of the traditional no-intercourse days? How hard is it to stick to oral or use condoms for a week or so?

I also hate condoms, and its probably the reason why I joined thunder.

I had three years experience without condom. But during a one night stand that stupid tight thing really killed the mood. I got increasing insecure about myself. Even in a new relation. I thought there was something wrong with me.

Later I joined thunder and that really helped, but my new GF still wanted me to use condoms and that was a drag. Having these tight smelly things on didn’t help.

Now I know I should have used XL condoms. I never considered myself large, until now. 6 inches of girth means XL :P No more tightness, they go on much faster and a much better feeling.
