Premature ejaculation at an all time low.

I guess I have personally decided to turn this thread into my diary of hopefully overcoming my premature ejaculation.

Last night, I had sex with my GF (it was planned). I masturbated about 30-45 minutes prior to sex in order to reduce some anxiety and help with my stamina. I also, for the first time used a desensitizing spray. It seemed to work a little bit but I was still nothing like my old self. I lasted about 8 minutes or so but my thrust were pretty slow and anytime I tried to speed up, the PONR rapidly came. The spray did take some sensation out of my penis but I still could enjoy sex. This may sound bad, but at this point, its more about me overcoming my premature ejaculation rather than enjoying sex.

Last night the GF and I had sex. Yes, I did use the desensitizing spray but for the first time in a while, I had total control of myself. I lasted as long as I wanted and she actually had to tell me to hurry up.

Here is what I think I am going to do: the next week or so I will continue to use the spray (right now I usually spray it 4-5 times on my dick) and after that gradually reduce the number of sprays to see if its actually the spray that is helping or if its more psychological.

Hey if you really want to punish her try orajel or similar oral pain relief gel, it has 20% benzocaine compared to most sexual desensitise sprays and creams 8% benzocaine. Cheap dollar store brands work just the same as well.

Which spray are you using? I have the same problem, I can’t last long, 5 minutes top if I go slow.

I’ll buy the spray too, do you feel your penis in her when using it? There is any sensation?

Conquering my goals.

I use Stud 100. Its really cheap, about 6 dollars on amazon. It says use anywhere from 3-10 sprays, currently I am using about 4-5 with hopes of gradually reducing the number over the next week or two.

As far as sensation, it seems to be just as good as without. I still have sensations down there and can defintiley feel my GF. Hell, for all I know my problem could be psychological but for now, I’ll stick with what is workings.

I remember I once bought a condom from Adam and Eve called Marathon that was supposed to do something similar but I never tried it.

I’ve suffered from premature ejaculation a long time. I found when I was on Zoloft I could go for an hour, but the side effects of Zoloft weren’t worth it. My Doctors says he now prescribes Zoloft just to treat premature ejaculation. For most men I absolutely DO NOT believe it’s psychological. In my case I had no idea controlling premature ejaculation was a side effect of Zoloft. For about three months I thought something was wrong with me and just thought the lengthy sex sessions were a fluke. When I noticed it was a permanent thing I finally connected the dots to Zoloft.

I think I will try the spray you used. There might be others to try as well. Has anyone used any other sprays?

Update

For about the last month or so, I have been using the desensitizing spray along with masturbating about an hour prior to sex in order to help my sexual stamina. So far it has been working fairly well. Each time I seem to be going a few minutes longer.

Last night I tried having sex with just using the spray and not masturbating prior to the act. Well that didn’t work too well for me. I only lasted about 3-4 minutes and definitely had to pace myself throughout. Even though this was a setback, I still feel optimistic about being this. At least I lasted 2-4 minutes rather then 20-30 seconds.

smoke a bowl of some good nuggies before you go at it(serious)

Had sex about an hour ago and there were some definite positives and negatives from it. All in all I lasted about 10 minutes. This time I ejaculated about an hour before sex and also used the spray.

For the first 8 minutes or so, I was in total control. I had the old feeling of being able to last as long as I wanted. However, as soon as she got into it more and more, my control failed me. When she started to get into the rhythm and making more and more moans and groans, I lost in without much warning. I probably could of stop all together, pulled out and regain some control but I have done that before and it frustrates her to high heaven.

I have had similar experiences. My problem is that I only ever suffer from premature ejaculation with one particular girl. We have been off and on for several years now and in the off periods I have discovered any other woman is not a problem for me, infact I rarely orgasm at all with them! Prozac does work for me but not really a long term solution and I have a niggle its all in the mind………..

So in my case the fact I can last for hours with any other woman, yet less than five minutes with one other is clearly indicative of it all being in the mind.

How to fix it is the problem :(

Yes, it is all psychological, as hard to believe as that may seem for such a tactile physical feeling. Nevertheless, it’s true. I vary in the amount of time I can spend with sexual intercourse. There are times when I am totally in control and can go on for a hour or more, literally have to work to get myself to climax. There have been other times when I can only a few minutes.

One thing I noticed is that for some reason I have a bit of the opposite problem. When I am having sex with a new woman and am a bit anxious, I tend to last forever. When I have gotten to know a woman a bit more and get comfortable around her, I tend to last just a few minutes if I am not careful.

Once, I went out with a girl that was a total sex bomb, at least I thought so. She was also into me and pretty much we were just getting together for the sex, nothing deep. Well, I could barely get it up (and I never had that problem before or since incidentally). When I could manage to get it up, I could last only a few seconds.

Anyway, it just goes to show how variable it can be, and I have found it can change from year to year. You may very well wake up in a few months and the problem will be gone.

Well definitely took a step in the wrong direction earlier tonight. I used the same things I have used the last couple of weeks but this time it didnt help. Immediately after engaging in sex, I felt the urge to ejaculate and couldnt hold back.

So I started taking SSRI’s for my premature ejaculation. I didnt want to but I was very desperate.

I going to use this thread as a diary and write down any thing relevant to the matter and who the help of you guys, maybe I can finally conquer this.

Sorry I didn’t link my other thread about this subject (do not know how) but in it, I mentioned the SSRI’s having a bad reaction in my body. Small things became really important, I had too much anxiety, and a nausea feeling in my stomach (prescribed 50mg of Sertraline a day). After that, I couldn’t take it so I stopped taking it for a day and then the following day cut the pill in half and only took 25 mg. Well tonight was the first time I had sex while taking it and it didn’t seem to help that much, maybe just a little. So here are a few questions I have:

1. I have been taking them for about 9 days (3 days of 50mg and the rest with 25mg) is this enough time for them to set in?

2. Should I still continue to take them and deal with the high anxiety/nausea felling? Will it go away after a “loading phase?”

I’m sure there are more questions but I’m tired and I’m sure they will come with a good nights rest. Once again, thanks in advance for all the help.

Solving Pre - e is a tough one, and there are lots of threads about it, but the strange thing about this story is:

Quote

About 9 months ago, I acquired PRE out of nowhere. Prior to that, I could last as long as I wanted.

You need to figure out what changed.

Horny Bastard

try another SSRI, for example, generic celexa or ciptopram (i think). Some work better than others. And take only ten grams or less.
