pubic hair removal

I shave mine with an electric razor. You don’t have the razor burn and it doesn’t itch all day afterwards.

I’m going to try waxing. I have awful skin creep from hanging.

I’ve tried all of those personal shavers and none of them would get close enough. Also every one of them would nick you especially on the scrotum. Then I discovered the best pubic hair shaver I have ever seen by accident. I’ve always used an electric razor for my face and the one I had broke. So I went and bought a Braun shaver that cleans itself automatically. I wondered if it would do any good down there so I tried it. It shaves smooth and close and has never nicked me even on the testicles.

If I could, I’d have my hair lasered. It can be done safely on the scrotum and pubic areas, but you have to have brown to black colored hair. It won’t work on blonde, red, or grey hair. The biggest problem you would have, is finding someone willing to laser a guy’s privates.

I’ve used Nair and Veet, both have to be used carefully. Best I find is Satin Care shaving soap from a spray can and Schick Extreme 3 razors. First go in the direction of the hair, then for a real close shave a second go against the

grain. Now someone has mentioned waxing … maybe I’ll give that a go.

I may have missed this earlier in the thread..

For you guys that pluck, do you just do the shaft and right around the base, or do you pluck more than that? Seems awfully time consuming.

I pluck the shaft only. I can spend an hour on it if I let it grow for a week or two. When I was doing it every other day it was about 5-10 minutes after showering and then I was done.

Search for Epil-Stop biowax. You should be able to find it for $15-$20 a tub. You microwave the wax about 4 minutes, use a wooden spatula to apply quarter-sized patches, let it cool, and pull. The pain lasts less than 1 second, literally. It takes on average 5 or 6 weeks for a hair follicle to regenerate, so a maintenance schedule of waxing every 10 days to 2 weeks should work for most. The wife does it now as well, and if she can do it you can do it. Say no to stubble.

Epil-Stop biowax. I’ll look into that.

I’ve had public hair removal done by a professional. I felt a little awkward, sitting there in front of those huge windows where everyone could see me, but the results were amazing!

PUBLIC hair removed in front of huge windows: why the awkwardness? Was it nose hair? Did you have a uni-brow? Now if it was PUBIC hair being removed… :)

I use an electric shaver - it’s smooth, easy, and quick.
