Too much foreskin removed.

I had a circumcision last week due to excess tightness.

The problem I have is that I was very nervous and therefore small during consultation and surgery. I’m very concerned they have removed way too much skin from the underside. I potentially have webbing all the way up the underside and therefore hair.

I’m average in erect size, 6.5” but if I looked so small to them during surgery they probably didn’t think I would ‘use’ that skin.

Now I’m panicking, I’m only 1 week post op but my nighttime erections which wake me are angled down and seem smaller. I know I’ll have to wait to heal to bring it up with gp. But I’m devastated.

As there is only so much flaccid skin underneath would manual stretching even work as it would just make the webbing worse.

Any advice?
Cheers.

I would say that all stretching or other PE methods are off limits until you are completely healed.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Echo gprent. Also the skin stretches easily and you’ll find that normal penile use will probably enough to stretch it.

Thunder's Place: increasing penis size one dick at a time.

It can be stretched, but it’s not something you should have to do.

Take pictures. Take them top, left, and right, every day, and every time something painful happens. Pictures are basically free now. Log erection events and pain on paper. Print every message and text. Log every phone call, and personal contact on *paper*, with a synopsis of the conversation for voice communications. Date and inital each page. A paper trail can be admissible as evidence in court at the magistrate’s discretion.

They bungled the surgery. If it was on the National Health you can at least fire up the complaint paperwork to make them miserable. If it was private your options might be different. Are there any sort of “patient advocate” organizations in the UK? Get the names of the surgeon, his assistant and nurses if any, his supervisor, and the hospital management staff above him before the records fade away.

If they try to claim “sometimes it turns out that way”; it’s something they should have discussed with you beforehand; they’re still incompetents. The papers you signed beforehand will probably say you absolve them of any responsibility for how the surgery turned out; that’s common boilerplate, and not always valid in court.

You can’t make it unhappen, and it’s unlikely you’d get compensation, but you can raise enough stink maybe they pay more attention the nice time they’re slicing on some guy who trusted that they knew what they were doing.

I would be flaming mad, and I would have a new lifetime hobby following them through what’s left of their careers.

Sorry that happend to you. The solution to tight skin is never to take away some skin. I don’t know how doctors sell that with a straight face.

You should document your state and retain any consents that were signed as they will surely prove inadequate information was supplied.

You need to a wait a few months before embarking on tensile tissue expansion.

Thanks for speaking up.

Thanks for the replies. I added some pics to see what you think. Also included two pre op pics that I took on a whim the day before. From some of my bumps you can see how much the would have taken and sewn close the the glands to top it off.

Relax, that is going to heal just fine. You just got to give time for your internal and external tissues to heal. Your penis is turtled, it needs to adapt, how? Giving time. Everybody that get circuncision is like that.

You are overthinking this.

There is this forum healthunlocked, they talk about circumcision, go there and open up.

Doing surgery instead of exhausting stretching options was malpractice. But to do such a radical surgery is truly evil. You need to hire a malpractice attorney with experience in circumcision cases.

I haven’t had a full erection yet, but there is a pronounced downward curve (straight erection pre op). The skin on the top is stretched, some bumps which used to be at the base of erection are now over halfway up the shaft and the skin is really tight now. Booked appointment with GP.

The paperwork only mentioned not being happy with the cosmetics, this I think would fall under function?

Thanks.

I’m so sorry this happened to you.

I think you should pursue a malpractice lawsuit. They took off way too much skin.

You should be able to stretch it over time, so it’s not the end of the world, but it will be a slow process, and you shouldn’t have to go thru it with a properly performed circumcision.

If the original reason for the circumcision was skin cancer, I could see them needing to remove more skin than strictly necessary out of an abundance of caution, but for a routine circumcision to relieve tightness (phismosis???), that was totally unnecessary.

What? The? Flaming? Hell? [profane rant redacted]

In what third-world butcher shop would that be considered a ‘circumcision’?

A proper circumcision, they remove the foreskin where it attaches to the shaft. If the attachment area is wide or irregularly shaped, they might remove a *very small* amount of shaft skin to even things up and make the finished appearance neater.

In your case, it looks like they excised everything from the foreskin attachment point to the sulcus. No wonder you’re pulling pubic skin out onto the shaft!

That’s malpractice anywhere on this earth. The incompetent who did that needs his/her/zhir license yanked. Just to start with.

They’re going to try to claim what they did is entirely normal, and you have no grounds for complaint. They’ll do it because most suckers will believe them and go away. Get them to put it in writing; it’s a damned lie, and a weapon to use against them if it makes it to court.

Thanks for the replies. I was almost starting to doubt myself really. Still haven’t had a full erection, fear of skin/stitches splitting. I’m 3 weeks post op tomorrow.

I’ve seen my GP who wants me to go back to urology. He was very on the fence, saying he would like the experts to view (maybe not wanting to stress me out). Waiting on urology call back.

Spoke to a few solicitors about malpractice, have a call back with one today.

Got two more pics which show a bit better that is going on.
