Is the water you drink, chlorinated?

Its just regular tap water from the faucet or it can be bottled

I thought I had replied to you but must have switched off before I sent the reply.

It might be worth boiling the tap water to get rid of the chlorine , and any other nasties that might lie in your water pipes.

Alternatively you could make a filter using using Barbeque fuel.

Crush the blocks to a rough powder, then take the bottom off of a plastic bottle.

Put some kitchen absorbant paper at the inside neck of the botte and then put the crushed fuel into the bottle. You dont need much, just folded once or twice will do

Pour the water into the upturned bottle throw away the first one or two fills to lose the powder then use the filtered water whnich should have lost the chlorine

There may be small bits of fuel in the water but unless you have a high allergy to the fuel they shouldn’t harm you.

I did this years ago when I was ill and we could smell the chlorine in the air as it was being used to excess at the pumping station.

Boiling gets rid of chlorine ? Didn’t know this.

Well it doesn’t smell of chlorine after being boiled. So something happens to it, But I never had a chemistry lesson in my life. So If it’s still there it’s been altered I guess.
