When I was 19 and someone told me I shouldn’t try something, I was sure to try it. Come to think of it, I am not much different now.
:)
We all know by now that ED drugs are used as recreational drugs, not just to treat disease.
However, if I could go back in time and try Viagra as a younger man, I’m not sure I would. On the plus side, it might give me a boost in my performance. On the downside, it might take away the attitude I had for many years, which was that my erection was perfect and in no need of a boost.
It was only maybe 5 years ago when I was in my early 40’s and a friend gave me a viagra tab to try. I told him I don’t need it, and I gave it away to an older I guy I know with diabetes.
I honestly had no curiousity or desire to see if it could improve my erection. My erection was fine. That is a good state of mind to have.
Now I have a nice supply of liquid C in my house, and I do not have ED. I have sex all the time, both with, and without, the liquid C. Without it, sex is fine, but I know that with it, sex is usually at least a little better. That is a bit of a downer to know that I need a drug to be at my best.
But it may not just be the drugs fault. I may have decreased a bit in my erection quality in the last 5 years. I’m 47 now. But I think what used to be “perfectly fine” is now “pretty good, but could be better”, in terms of my natural sexual performance.
If you do want to try it, it ain’t going to kill you. But be aware of the psychology. If you think you need it, you may want to explore with a doctor why you are having problems at your age, rather than just masking symptoms with a drug. If you don’t need it at all, you might want to consider staying from the stuff, or giving it one try just to convince yourself it is no big deal.
If you get into a state of mind where you don’t have 100% confidence without drugs, that sucks, especially if you don’t have a good supply you have access to at all times.
I think it is a very short step to go from being perfectly happy with your natural state, to wanting to have a pill in your pocket just in case.
