Whew!!! I only have Pearly Penile Papules.

Recently I’ve noticed some small bumps around the coronal ridge on my glans. I was worried that it was genital warts, which is caused by the Human Papiloma Virus. My ex-wife was an evil whore, and there’s no telling how many guys she screwed. Since I have been fixated on my penis recently, I’ve been more observant of things that didn’t seem right. I noticed these bumps, did a Wikipedia search, and discovered that they are actually called pearly penile papules, or Hirsuties papillaris genitalis. By the way… mine are not nearly as bad as the ones in the pictures on Wikipedia. :) In any case, I’m only posting this because according to Wikipedia, 48% of guys have this, and it isn’t contagious. If you were worried about it like I was, worry no more.

Wow the pictures on wikipedia look pretty gnarly. Did it just happen or did you gradually develop them?

Thank god! I have the same thing (to a lesser extent) and I was wondering the same thing as you. Turns out they’re harmless!

I first noticed them about 2 years ago, but they were very small. Mine are still small compared to the pics on Wikipedia, but they seem to be more prevalent lately. I think it must be because of the PE. I’ve been using a pump, and I think that has exacerbated the PPP issue.

I have the same thing and was slightly concerned at first.They are harmless as the article says though and my wife doesn’t complain so no big deal.

Yeah-I have those papules too. Do you think guys that they may cause early/premature ejaculation(as they are sensitive)? I have never thought about it this way-but it is true that in last 2-3 years I find it hard to last long in bed. Earlier I did not have those papules and could last longer. However there can be no link between those issue.

They look a lot like skin tags that are ganging up to kick you dicks ass. I have skin tags all over my body, but they don’t have a beef with my junk.

I was doing some more research and heard many people mention the toothpaste treatment. Apparently you cannot simply use any old toothpaste. You need to use toothpaste containing Clinomyn, which is found in smoker’s toothpaste. A search of various blogs reveals that some men swear by the toothpaste treatment, and others say it didn’t work for them, or was only temporary. My PPPs aren’t very bad, but I think I’ll try the toothpaste treatment anyway. Maybe by treating now, it will prevent them from getting worse in the future. I’ll take before and after pics and post them in the “Progress Reports/Personal Routines” section since that’s the only forum that allows penis pics.
