1 year of Bathmate, Progress Check

Starting BPEL was 5.5”. Current is 5.75”. I never got around to measuring girth because it was hard to consistently do because the penis compresses. I realize Bathmate is mainly for girth but length was the easiest way to consistently measure.

Routine is pumping 2x for around 8 minutes each and manual stretching afterwards. I train every other day but there were long periods of no training over the year due to penis being too sore from sex with ex GF. All in all, I’d say this averages out to 1 session per week over the past year.

The confounding variable is that I’m into bodybuilding, I’ve gone from 185lbs to 215lbs over the past 2 years. It wasn’t all muscle, there definitely was significant fat gain as well though maybe this doesn’t make too much difference in BPEL since the measurement is pressed in. The main issue with bodybuilding is that I generally have poor erection quality the day after a hard gym session. Bodybuilding also reduces how much PE I can do, the body has a limited amount of recovery capacity overall, there’s no way around it.

My main reason for posting is to ask those of you who are experienced with PE, does it seem like I’m doing too much PE or too little? The argument for too little is only gaining 0.25” after a year. The argument for too much is that I’ve seen people talking about having great erections after pumping, my penis is just floppy and swollen after pumping, to elaborate on the swollen, I’m not circumcized and my foreskin massively swells post pump. Too much doesn’t just mean quantity, maybe I’m pumping too hard with too much pressure?

You are doing too little work, and applying too much force. Follow the beginner routine, and do it consistently. It will gives about 75% of people noticeable gains (0.5-0.75 in length, 0.25-0.5 in girth) in 3-6 months. After that, reassess whether the time investment is worth continuing for a very small chance you will grow beyond those initial gains.

Totally Agree

I agree with Mizguy. While I’m still very new to PE, the newbie routine has helped me gain over a 0.25” in BPEL and MSEG in just a short 3 month period. Consistency has been the key for me I think. Once I decided to give PE a try, I made sure that I made time to do it. I’m usually 2 days on and 1 day off but sometimes push 3 days in a row. Taking official 3 month measurements this weekend after rest days but the intermittent measures I’ve done from time to time would lead me to think I should be around .375” of gains in both BPEL and MSEG. We will see this weekend.

The massively swelling foreskin you describe is edema, caused by pumping at too high a vacuum level. A pump with a gauge is a superior option as you can monitor the vac level to ensure you are pumping at a safe vac level and that you can be consistent with your pumping program.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

One thing that I’ve found to be useful is using the hot wrap for 5 mins and then getting in the bath doing a gentle massage for 5 mins. Since I’ve been warming up I haven’t been swollen anymore. Until I actually found this site and read up on the hot wrap I haven’t been swollen like your referring to.
